Good news for all 360 PES/WE players

Play Interactive Software, the distributor of PES 2008 for the Xbox 360 and PS3 in Malaysia, is having a special pre-order program for the game.

Pre-order your copy today at Gamer's Hideout and you'll get a FREE PES 2008 t-shirt as well.

Additionally, if you're one of the 11 early birds to collect your copy on launch day (ETA is 23rd Nov), you'll get a special numbered (#1 to #11) PES 2008 jersey instead. (PS: i heard its an adidas jersey)

Here's an update to the PES/WE pre-order program I shared earlier.

After chatting to Play Interactive, the distributor, they have confirmed that the version they will be bringing in is actually Winning Eleven 2008, NOT PES 2008.

It's the first time Konami is making an Asian version for this region, hence the confusion.

Play Interactive also mentioned that there should be no difference between the Jap WE 2008 and this Asian WE 2008 except for the pricing and language. (The Jap ver will have Jap voiceovers and English menu, while the Asian ver is expected to have English voiceovers and menu. It is unsure at this point in time if the Asian ver also has Jap voiceovers.)

The RRP for the Asian WE 2008 is RM189.

guys, WE 2008 stocks have arrived at GH. The game will be sold from 7pm onwards.

Remember, for those that pre-ordered, if you are the first 11 in line, you get the numbered (#1 to #11) limited edition WE 2008 jersey instead of the the t-shirt. Customers #12 to #50 get a WE 2008 t-shirt.

PS: the PS3 version will only arrive on wed or thurs. However, if you have pre-ordered the PS3 version, you can come to queue up this evening at GH to collect the numbered jersey.

playsia's versions is probably the jap version, hence the higher price.
