is there really a difference between PES 2008 and WE 2008

i got this game last week(WE2008). bought from GH. with a black t-shirt. which is. quite nice ^^

i am quite disappointed. since i bought this game mainly for online play.
so far none of the matches i played are lagless. all lag like HELL!@#!@#
even i choose the full bar (lowest ping) to play.

most of the player are from HK and Japan, i am yet to meet any malaysia or singapore player.
not sure what will it be like. but for my winning eleven X, no such issue of lagging even with 1 bar only.
how come konami screw it up?

i am playing back WEX now. funny that the we2008 collecting dust now.

Lag in we2008 is like. the opponents player will zipping from 1 point to another point all of sudden.
sometimes the balls actually went into goal, but a second later it was at the defender's foot. its consider unplayable for me. since. i am a Winning eleven fans. played since ps2 dayz we5

The patch for WE11 has been promised by Konami, to fix the lagging prob. Just got mine and the manual is so funny to read,hahahah!!

The first 2 videos are bugs but the third one seems a lot of skill involve there...

yeah la..i tried to play online but cannot play at all as lag like hell..even FIFA08 can still play online even though a bit laggy-but WE 2008 is the worst!! arghhh!! there goes my money(lucky got t-shirt , if not such a waste cannot play online )

Yup patch is out for PES 2008, but it does update our Winning Eleven 2008...sigh

Konami does not have the Rights for EPL clubs...

Well technically you still have Tottenham and Newcastle officially licensed in there and the rest of the teams in the EPL have the right player names and stats. The thing you need to change are the uniforms and such which has been the same with all PES games. Only the "ahem" PES games have the right teams coz its been "edited"

There is an option file patch available for the 360 from the boys at evo-web so that you don't have to edit it yourselves. Google.

hm..patch still not there for WE 2008..still cannot play online and replay still laggy...why la this half-baked product released too early..sigh..

Actually if you have a modded box then you can download the patch and burn a new dvd to have all the teams and correct jerseys and player names.

personally i think the patch wont help much on the laggy issue.
coz from what i see this piece of KETAM(winning eleven 2008) was build wrongly from the ground up.
unlike winning eleven X. its about the network engine. not quite sure about the technical stuff
but for WEX, if its lag, both player will slow down, there are no ghosting issue, ball zipping issue,
its like Drop frame, both player will see the same result. whole game slow down, but still playable.

but for this piece of KETAM(winning eleven 2008), its about the player itself, you wont feel any lag or slowdown
when the ball its with you, if the transfer rate drop, or high ping, or any technical term you can come out with. the opponent cant seem to sync with you. and you can see his defender like ghost appearing infront of you suddenly.
the ball disappear suddenly and end up being no where. its like... they have to change the whole network engine or whole game to fix the lag issue, they will tell you. if you play with the player from the same country. you wont get lag.

how is the PES2008 after the patch?

until today, still no patch for WE 2008!! wow, I can't believe I spent RM 180 for a cheap T-shirt haha...it is the most expensive T-shirt I ever bought-the game? meh....online play sucks, can't play at all!!
