Gasket leak due to deteriorated gasket material, so eventually it will happen doesn't matter the engine oil brand, viscosity. Iiwu, 5w30/ 0w30 fully synthetic buy from Shopee mall. I usually bought Mizu brand cz price and shopee mall factor, I dont have ball to purchase for normal seller or preferred seller, instead shopee mall only

same here , always stick to mizu brand especially for engine oil and atf oil

2 days back service my camry with mizu 10w40 fully synthetic engine oil , previously also using same engine oil , satisfied with it

Fow wide range ATF best go with aisin atf. They have official store in shopee and lazada. Afw+ for most 4 gear, afw VI for 6 gears and above. Cfe for cvt. Can't go wrong with it.

-Autohaus kl seri kembangan can get package petronas semi rm180. but recently seri kembangan 2 branches closed down dy only left puncak jalil branch.
-Proton 2s auto sinaran taman equine can get petronas fully syntium 3000 package around rm220, but now proton 2s sc all become petronas autoexpert dy, the parts they get from oem supplier not guarantee proton ori.
-Castrol service center quite expensive, around rm350 for semi magnetic oil package.
-Most or all proton 3s/4s are hopeless, need to book slot still waiting from 9am till 3pm for simple oil change. Rm260++ for semi oil, tend to add engine cleaning, n95 cabin filter end up rm400+ if u dun aware.

I am using Shell Helix Ultra 5W30.

Does fully synthetic oil really can go 10,000km without minor sludge buildup?

My last oil change clocked at 9,000km interval and I felt uncomfortable changing it so late. Need to do so as I travel around 90km / day now.

My usual routine is max 8,000 km for oil change interval.

I have bought Mizu full synthetic engine oil and also Mizu engine oil treatment, plan for Saga BLM 55k km old next service.

I guess this Saga BLM has been serviced with budget workshop oil once a year over the years. Seems the engine valve gasket is leaking because of age, it is noisier and annoying when cold start.

I asked a foreman, he said don't use that oil treatment, he suggested using engine flush instead. I googled, found pro and con of doing either oil treatment or engine flush.

How to minimise the risks if I do both engine flush and oil treatment?

I thought to monitor (dipstick and noise) and change engine oil again in shorter time frame, maybe after 3 months (estimated 3000 km), maybe with better premium brand oil the next time, hopefully to improve the engine performance and reduce noise. Eventually can use back non premium brand oil.

Your foreman is good, oil treatment bring more harm than any good. Flushing, if read from website, can bring few positive things but only on certain scenario. Like previously the car had never put EO service on time, already had minor sludge issues or u just bought a used car and dont know if the previous owners did the oil change per interval or not. I only did one engine flushing when the car hit 230k km, where I bought it from shopee mall, bought it cz this is the only engine oil flushing that recommend to drive the car after putting it, but capped to 150km iirc. Tbh, nothing different felt in term of engine power, sound etc, as I really take care for the EO interval b4. Positive thing I noted is even running 2k km after that EO flushing and EO change, the current EO look still "clean". That about it.

Btw if the car is turbocharge engine stock, please don't use oil treatment

From where you bought your oil? Confirm genuine?
