QUOTE(Tokik Siwok @ Dec 27 2024, 04:59 PM) Previously bought Liqui Moly Special Tec AA 0w20 during Shopee sale. As long as same grade ex 0w20 liqui moly + shell 0w20, shouldn't be a problemMoving forward I'm thinking to get something cheaper like Shell Helix Ultra if it is ok to mix oil. QUOTE(Iceman74 @ Feb 10 2025, 01:16 AM) Hi, I got a 20 years weekend car years ago listened TraxxFM Autotech with Cik Mat, he mentioned can hold it to 1 year if use Fully Synthetic for car that low mileage/ not moving. But always start it warm up once weekly, cz if not start for too long can diminish the engine oil. Dont forget your tyre pressure if park too long.Would like to ask, how long can EO last before doing EO change? Can't use mileage as indicator cos will be low, A year change once? QUOTE(ayamxxx @ Feb 10 2025, 08:51 AM) If you do not warm up/drive it long enough to at least reach 90c temps, you're better off leaving it cold storage never start up. Otherwise, You'll do more harm than good through fuel dilution. ayamxxx liked this post

QUOTE(DM3 @ Feb 10 2025, 10:31 AM) No goodMost cars needs between 20-30 minutes of idling even in Malaysian weather to get to 90c If you drive right away normally, you can cut that time down by at least 5 to 10 minutes+ so at least still need between 10-25 of driving to get 90c (operating temp, and hot enough to prevent fuel dilution) DM3 liked this post

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Feb 10 2025, 10:35 AM) No good Ya dilution worst fr engines with gdi esp the H 1.5T. last time Ketam always SC filled up to almost 4liters during the 1st 2yrs until they used pump EO system n always oil level passed max marks even less than 3mths usage n outside wrkshop also like to pour all in frm bottles. So by 6th yr using valve gasket gone but luckily not head gaskets like those frm US.Most cars needs between 20-30 minutes of idling even in Malaysian weather to get to 90c If you drive right away normally, you can cut that time down by at least 5 to 10 minutes+ so at least still need between 10-25 of driving to get 90c (operating temp, and hot enough to prevent fuel dilution) So since then even with my G10 now always make sure they do 3.6lits only |

Me drive it for it to recharge the car battery as well too me now not too sure want to change EO when and with Semi or Fully last time fully and now it time to change again |
