For 5 yrs run 0-20 in civic,nownusing shell 5-40, for about 1 week felt sluggish but later Fc all same n seems run well,no diff also.

Interesting read, somehow since my mileage near 0ver 110k , tried 5-40 on recommended 0-20 somehow fills the bigger gap engine. Next round prob go back to 0-20.
Is it good to mix abit 5-40?

haha for me never cared on FC, mine 5 yrs usage n my heavy footing which can get 14km+/l but instead only 9-10km only as ave.

I mean other owners get 14km but i nver before got tht only 9km n with 5-40 also same around 9km also

Ya i got my own o rings n change every other service as the condition still good after 1 usage. Only thing service outside wrranty most mecha like to use the white tape for the screw bolts

Bought many times frm Vanli my H Eo 0-20w,all good.

Why not shortened EO change by half regularly then ,without those additional cleaners oils fr flushing.

Same weight should be ok

Wat if idling start but rev gradually off n on for about 10mins?

Ya dilution worst fr engines with gdi esp the H 1.5T. last time Ketam always SC filled up to almost 4liters during the 1st 2yrs until they used pump EO system n always oil level passed max marks even less than 3mths usage n outside wrkshop also like to pour all in frm bottles. So by 6th yr using valve gasket gone but luckily not head gaskets like those frm US.
So since then even with my G10 now always make sure they do 3.6lits only
