I inquired about this to Public Bank before. No SMS alert for paywave transactions.

Same goes to GSC HL Credit card during purchased Food & beverage.

No SMS received and no signature is needed, just touch and go only

now suddenly become 12 times.

if 1 principal and 3 supp card
each person only can enjoy 3 free entry per year

where did you check this?
look like they downgrade the privilege..
maybe due to too many ppl abuse it?

12 times per year really not enough

I have sent an email to maybank asking whether the 12x starts from now or it includes the previous access. And also whether supp holders are included in the 12x access or separate.

I am wondering 12 times per year per card or 12 times per year for principal + supplementary...
if 12times per card, still ok

Will share here once i got a black and white reply from maybank. i am expecting the worst, ie. shared access

I was thinking to get VS soon... 12 times to me is still OK because I don't have supp card.

Yeah, people like me who only travels once a year. Enough la.

Yes . Too many. I myself 15 times already this year

I don't think that is the case. The cost for a meal there is lesser than the rate for PPL access and it is not well known. I was the only customer on two occasions. The unlimited quota is really killing the bank. I am not surprise it they revise it down further in the future.

other banks have reduced their already in one way or another - CIMB, UOB, Citibank. Next will be Aeon

Maybank makes net profit RM6 bil a year, after accounting for all the unlimited PPL access. How is this unlimited quota killing Maybank?

Maybe killing is not the right word, but surely maybank is able to save some by this exercise. same thing like the TP catalogue revision.

Only Public Bank and Ambank offer unlimited entry now .... Provided fulfill the numbers of foreign trnx one have to make within a stipulated time.
