I'm seeing a lot of people asking for high CL.

Personally, I don't need high CL for my usage. Or am I missing something good about high CL?

depending on your spending pattern..
sometime high CL very useful when the bank have promotion for 0% balance transfer..
then u can balance transfer from other bank cc, then keep the money in short term FD to earn some interest whistling.gif

Interesting.

I have been wondering how beneficial is this BT thing.

Mind explaining with a simple numeric example?

Thanks.

let take e.g RM1000 installment for 10 months with 0% installment fees..

you require to pay RM100 per month for the next 10 months..
instead of paying full RM1000, you put the RM1000 to 1 month FD 3% p.a., you will earn RM2.5 for 1st month..
then 1st month installment come u pay RM100, you left with RM900 and again u put in 1month FD 3%p.a.
2nd month u earn RM2.25...

the rest of month you calculate yourself.. tongue.gif

sorry for the bad explanation. hope you can understand.
perhaps other people can give better explanation
