I did, they told me 50k to waive. I just spend <20k on this card for whole year. Maybe not convincing for them.

I have the VS and shared limit with M2C and its 18k only.

Oooo did your annual income meet the requirements?

My limit is RM18k too (but i split RM3K for Ikhwan so now is RM15k) if i know i should have just applied this instead. But my annual income did not reach the min (unless include bonus).

Now already reduced to 70k p.a.

If I were to apply this also for PPL purpose as I have other cards which cover groceries and petrol, since I already have cards for PPL, will delay this plan for the following year or any of my PPL cards suddenly revises its PPL benefits. laugh.gif

Yup it does, but I guess its because the application I made for VS was based on the old documents I used for the M2C cards application previously, didn't need to submit new ones since the staff told me the previous ones I used for M2C should suffice.

Either way I didn't bring any additional document other than IC number also at the time. Lol.

Well, up to the bank to assess. None of us can make decision on behalf of bank. yawn.gif

I agree. My supp cards were approved on 17 Dec. Called few days ago and found out that they sent to my old address. Luckily, no one was there to pick up, and eventually POSLAJU sent it back to Maybank.

In my application for principle last year, I've already put in my new address, and updated Maybank2u. Somehow, credit card department is still using my old address. I kept on telling the CS rep to check my principle application form and read to me the address. Asked her why was it not updated but could not give any answer.

Simply because, most banks have various systems (deposit, loan, credit card, ATM) that came from different vendors, hence separate customer databases.
Therefore your records for one type of account may not be the same from the other.

Same and I'm waiting for my card to arrive. Worse thing is my aunt went into our house today and noticed Poslaju notice with failed delivery and ticked it as credit card.
So far I'm only waiting for my newly approved AmEx Plat and I suspected that's the one. I called two days ago and the CS confirmed it will be sent to my office address as indicated in my application.
I just called again and this CS said my card hasn't sent out and it will be sent next week, she also confirmed will be sent to my office address. The CS I spoke to the other day said I will receive by today. rclxub.gif

I have a feeling it's indeed the Maybank card. How should I find out la? sad.gif

Yes, that is true, but I applied for a new principle card using my new address. At the very least, they should notice that the address is different and verify with me if they are unsure. They should not just ignore it. If I never request for supplementary card, I would not have known that they are using the wrong address for the past two years. Maybe there has been letters relating to the cards (promo, birthday gifts, etc.) that has been sent there and I will never know now. sad.gif

Haha.. after I rant a bit over here... came home just now and found my card has finally arrived in my mailbox. It was sent by pos laju but is stamped with "DROP MAIL REQUEST" which means it doesn't need to personally hand over to a recepient at the address.

I'm curious why is there a drop mail request which I never request, but no big deal as it's already in my hand now.

Love the VISA signature logo so much as it looks titanium, which is different with cimb vs and rhb vs.

Though approved on 28 Dec but the expiry date is MAR, which is the same month with my current M2C Plat cards. So I should have 1 year plus 2 months to enjoy this card if I don't fulfil the waiver threshold.

Coincidentally, my M2C Plat is expiring on Mar 16, which I can see in my maybank2u indicate "Activate Card" now. So I'm expecting the new M2C Plat new card should be arriving soon too.

guys, got 1 question about the annual fee:
50k spending to be counted in second year onwards or what? I was told by 1U Maybankard center staff that annual fee will be charged on the first day of the second year (this year) I am holding this card. combine spending with other MBB credit cards are not counted. Only spending in MBB VS is valid. Is it true?

what is the expiry month shown at your MBB2 and Ikhwan? No one reported that they managed to waive without meeting the spend req so far.

My case:

MBB VS approved in April 2015.
Expiry on existing MBB cards is March.

I was told that my VS will be charged with AF at the end of Feb 2016 and The AF will be prorated since it is not 1 year. I am challenging this.
