EDIT: Can ignore this. Got the answer after reading through pages of posts...

Just wondering, if my card is approved on 1 Nov 2015, when will the second year AF be charged? In my Nov 2016 bill or Nov 2017 bill? Not too sure if AF's are charged at the start of usage or end of card year.

If it's charged in Nov 2016 bill, then I would assume from 1 Nov 2015 to 31 Oct 2016, we need to spend 30k? Or the 30k spending only matter from 1 Nov 2016 to 31 Oct 2017?

wow! that's a bit push to the limit.
*
Well, it's a win-win situation for both parties as I'll be swiping most of my expenses with the card.

how u apply? by phone or walk in or online?

how to expedite it? i oso dont like to wait o.

thanks
*
Walk-in. I requested for fast approval and they said they will try their best. No guarantee though. The card arrival will be later though, but I opted to pick it directly from Menara Maybank since I won't be around by the time the card arrive.

Looks like there are variances of answers to this TP transfers.

During my visit to 1Utama card center, I asked if I can transfer my TP M2Cards to VS, the officer said cannot.
*
It's fine to transfer out from VS. They don't allow other cards to VS because only points earned from VS can get the 40k TP = RM100 rebate. If they allow that, then people would probably just use AMEX to swipe most of their transactions (other than petrol and groceries) and transfer to VS to get the rebate.

You can call customer service to confirm. I did my Signature supp card application for my wife as well, but Maybank issued supp cards for all my credit cards in Maybank. I selected Signature only when I applied online. sweat.gif

Just a note, I've checked my statement for December and found out that Photobook.com.my (SG) and Steam (US) games are oversea spends. I was charged in MYR for the products, but in my statement, i got x5 TPs from these two purchases.

Does this card gives points for internet transaction made from M2U website?
*
Yes, all transaction qualifies for points except for petrol and groceries.

better call and ask..maybe missing liao

I agree. My supp cards were approved on 17 Dec. Called few days ago and found out that they sent to my old address. Luckily, no one was there to pick up, and eventually POSLAJU sent it back to Maybank.

In my application for principle last year, I've already put in my new address, and updated Maybank2u. Somehow, credit card department is still using my old address. I kept on telling the CS rep to check my principle application form and read to me the address. Asked her why was it not updated but could not give any answer.

Simply because, most banks have various systems (deposit, loan, credit card, ATM) that came from different vendors, hence separate customer databases.
Therefore your records for one type of account may not be the same from the other.
*
Yes, that is true, but I applied for a new principle card using my new address. At the very least, they should notice that the address is different and verify with me if they are unsure. They should not just ignore it. If I never request for supplementary card, I would not have known that they are using the wrong address for the past two years. Maybe there has been letters relating to the cards (promo, birthday gifts, etc.) that has been sent there and I will never know now. sad.gif

There's a minimum CL for VS? I've personally requested 16k and they gave me that.

Probably...but Citibank die die must follow their minimum. I applied for their Platinum last year and they don't allow me to go lower than their minimum sweat.gif

My Card Approval month is April-2015, Card Expiry Month is July.
So my MBB VS annual fee will be charge in April 2016 or July 2016 or July 2017 ?
*
July 2016, since you have that card from July 2015 to July 2016. That's a full year cycle.

If the other way around (Approval July 2015, expiry April), then it will be April 2017 since they can't charge you from April 2015 to April 2016.

If I overpaid my visa signature, can I ask the customer service to transfer to excess payment back to my saving account? Let's say the amount is RM20k, will they ask any question or any safe amount without giving them a reason?
*
Quickest way to find out is to call them. Don't think this is common for most cardmembers to request refund for overpayment unless it's for account closure.
