Morning All Need some advises from you guys : I'm getting my Honda City E spec soon and i heard MANY people said ... "If new car, u cannot drive more than 90km/h because for engine break-in period... must wait until next service (10k mileage) only u can drive more than 90km/h." Now the problem comes, i will need to drive from KL to penang on that day i collect my car. If follow the 90km/h.... then drive 6 hour also tak sampai penang lagi any expert here can give some advice ?

If after 1000km, can speed already.

QUOTE(budak minyak @ Nov 17 2014, 06:28 AM) When to use gear S and L? What S and L stand for? I only use D gear like all the time. Wondering when is the right time to use S or L. Can anyone advise about this. If you want to speed up the car more than normal driving, can try to switch to S mode. L mode is apply on decending road whereby engine brake will help to slow down the car.

QUOTE(warrencechin @ Nov 17 2014, 10:53 AM) dont think u can get back unless u have relevant excuse By law they are required to refund you a portion of it regardless of reason. They are only allowed to keep 0.1% of the total car price from the booking fee. So if your car is RM80k, and you paid RM800 as booking fee, they can only keep RM80 (as admin fee) and refund you RM720. If they refuse, they are breaking the law.

Can anyone advise about this. Using the lower gears might cause your fuel consumption to increase. For more power (when overtaking or climbing hills), just downshift to this 2 or L. If you're going downhill, just drive on D or if you wanna save petrol, stay at N. This post has been edited by DaBestOne: Nov 17 2014, 12:06 PM
