Hey guys, i have hooked up my Iphone using HDMI for the mirrorlink purpose. But is not charging my Iphone via HDMI, is this normal? Btw it is Honda city V Spec.

Something wrong with the USB connector or pendrive? Coz i dont have do what you did. It just automatically plays where i left off.

Just found out TEIN and GAB sport spring for previous version honda city can use for our 2014 city~

Wow..u guys are gettin very good FC..I'm gettin averagely 400km per full tank (35-37litre). Travelling everyday abt 30-40km town driving with KL traffic jam.

Now cvt start giving problem already. From dead start from traffic light..gear seems to be stuck at 1st gear till i release throttle abit. SC asked to send in to reprogram or something..first case he's heard it seems...demnn

HDMI is not a charging cable, is a video signal cable. Thats why the lightning to HDMI converter got a lightning socket beside it for charging.

Now considering between this city and the upcoming mazda 2. 2 different ride hmm.

Kl city driving will get that avg. I live in KL... never get more than 400km. Car idle waiting for traffic light for 10 - 15 minutes everyday, drop the km/l rapidly.

Now that you mention it, my pendrive has been a bit wonky for years. I'll test with a different one.

Hi guys, i just finished study and going to get myself a new car, currently im in a dilemma to choose either vios or city. Vios is quite tempting since i found a rebate of 6k for the J spec while 4k rebate for the city models. However, im love more on the interior details for the city. BTW, for the city, shud i go for the S specs or the E? thanks guys!

this thread will reply u - City. E Spec is nice (using it). But depend your budget. Plus bank need to see your salary and how much u can afford to pay.

City is nice, E spec is sufficient...Service & maintenance quite straight forward. That's why jap car resale value is high.
As for affordability to own a city is pretty much depends on your priority, nobody can advice you on this.

Cuz im new to working since i just graduated few months bac and now im getting my first car, just need some rough estimates and some advise from all the seniors and bros

your salary need to at least 1/3 for the loan repayment per month (after deduct income tax, kwsp, any other loan). My loan 60K for 6 years and i put downpayment- 20K (e-spec). Every month RM960 repayment.
the question is how much your down payment? Download an app called "car loan calculator" to identify your monthly repayment, duration of your loan, interest put (2.7%). If you drag till 9 years then most likely u won't able to repay. Next do you have NCD for insurance 55% discount?

My 1st car is wira. So i can bring forward NCD and no need to pay a lot of insurance on yearly basis.

All this come very important as every month you will struggle to pay. Unless you put a lot of down payment.So think carefully when get 1st car as you may suffer to next 6-9 years and end up no life.

So choose and think wisely.

This will be my first car, as the person told me my year for roadtax and insurance will be 2.4k for the downpayment, im only able to put in cash 2k (together with rebate 3.5k) which total is 5.5k only with 9 years loan of 890-900++
