Hi guys,

Any solution for Preve executive slow pick up issue ? Especially start to move from traffic light or from stand still.

Service center will help us to solve this problem ? Update the ECU will solve this issue or not ?

Any suggestion ?

Thanks. smile.gif  smile.gif  smile.gif

Hi Blaze,

What is COE, and what you tell them so that they can do some configuration on your car ?

me also travel from home to office everyday around 60~70km.just maintain low rpm too.. previous got went to kedah changlun.. i got accelerate till 190km/h 2 times.. car is still stable until 160km/h.. after that, its feel floating already but not so serious.. if can try dont do it always.. i just let my car exercise only during that time before 1000km service.

dont know its my car problem or not.. i feel auto cruise control will use higher rpm than normally we manual press pedal.. example i can press pedal at 2k rpm abit for 100km/h, but if i use auto cruise, rpm will go up to 2.5k rpm..

Hahaha!
I dont think I will have the chance of trying at this speed. (Mom's on board). LoL!!

Is it s a good idea to go exceed 120km/h before 1k service??
I was about to try but Manual book says dont exceed 120km/h before 1k service.
*Engine hasn't kick in, to confirm brake fully function, engine oil not full or smth, ?(this is those i heard around not to try exceed 120km/h before 1k. Myth??

hmm.. u may try to exceed it but dont do it frequently.. when nearly 1k, like around 800+ then u might give him a extreme test.. of course, make sure the traffic is clear and smooth.. then u may try your brake and others as well..

2 break-in methods, doing it the recommended way or the hard way. recommended way is the one u can find from the manual, hard way u can google a bit on "hard break in" or HERE.

from what im experiencing, based my usage of highway which has some ascending and declining sections, in the auto-cruise mode, engine-braking is triggered when declining, trying to maintain the speed as preset.

Hey ya!

I read about this before i got my car.
But there are still loads of people debating about this.
So im kinda like 50-50%.

I just want to clear this up : -

Hard break in, said as better and clear engine up!
But will this exhaust the engine at first = FC will be high onwards.

I know it dont sounds convincing, but just want to confirm on this.

Thanks in advance! notworthy.gif

It's already widely known, but many, while not legally obligated to follow, would worry about the warranty dispute should you go against the car manufacturer's 'recommendation'.

Don't know whether it is just me having this "problem".

Feel that when I want to slow down by pressing on the brake pedal, I tend to over do it though my foot on the pedal is light. When I take my foot off the pedal, it speeds up and I have to put my foot on the brake again. This makes the ride not as smooth as I want it.

I did not have that problem with my old Wira. Possible to adjust the brake (say by 5-10%) to reduce its "sensitivity"?

Anyone with similar experience?

Thanks.

i know that road condition might be have some slope in different section. but i do actually test and same location while press pedal manually and used auto cruise at different day.. auto cruise indeed higher rpm. i dont know why. supposing auto cruise is good for maintain speed while saving fuel.. but in facts, get better when light press pedal manually.. but sometimes i still will use auto cruise when road condition is clear..

i did the hard break in last time when i bought a new car. running strong even after 6 years. sold it to get my current ride. i have used the same method again. let's c if that will help to maintain the engine performance at least 5 years from now.

still too early to tell from my side but im quite a heavy footer. so time will tell. now around 9.4l/100km with 2xxx km on the clock. but i realised 1 thing before my 1k service, the consumption dropped more whenever i stressed it up. not sure how FC is calculated. maybe based on average speed against available fuel.

If I'm not mistaken that's the turbo lag effect.

Thanks.

Sorry that I did not mention the speed on the braking problem. When I slowed down at T junction or coming into my house to park. Is the turbo active then?

Cheerio.
