i checked my system info and found that mine is JXDCNBA 9.0, which is china version, i downloaded a malaysia version rom, can i apply it to my phone?

age & gender detection only work on simple mode not advanced mode.. this bug need to fix

Hi,

After the latest update to Google Search from the Play store I am getting this blank icon as shown.

Uninstalling it removes Google search.

Anyone is having this problem.

You can flash to MY ROM, no problem.

But highly recommended to fully wipe first

Just to confirm, You don't have anything plugged into the earphone jack right? The last time I remember having my Mi Key plugged in during a call and nothing came through the earpiece. Installing the Mi Key app solved my issue in the end.

For those who having issue with the latest Google Search update in Mi3.

1. Extra black icon appeared on the home screen after updated.

Not sure what is the cost, possible the Mi Launcher is not compatible. Solution is simple, go to Language Setting & change it to other languages. Then, you may see the black icon is gone, after that switch back to your prefer language.

2. Google Now is not activated in the Google Search.

If you're using Chinese language as preferred language & when you install or update Google Search. Google Now is not able to activate, you must switch to English language before install or update Google Now, may sure you setup the Google Now features before switch back to Chinese language.

hi, is ap set (directd) any difference with ori set? (software and hardware) cause i dont have paypal neither credit card to buy online. Thinking of grabbing one from directd if only the difference is warranty. Thanks

I tried uninstalling the black icon, but it uninstalled some of my Google app too. I think it was Google search. lel. Lucky some user post that solution. laugh.gif

Looks like MIUI ROM 4.5.9 with kitkat 4.4.2 is rolling out soon

I am using dev rom,got a problem when voice recording the sound quality is very bad,sounds like alien/transformers,is it a bug?if i change back to stable rom will this fix the problem?thanks for helping
