Buying xiaomi products is different as they have active ROM development compare to others OEM.

They won't know you using third party charger. Actually is okay to use Note 2 2A charger, as long is Genuine product, or OEM made also can, but not those cheapo CLONE made. I won't responsible for your phone explode or melt-down.

Just in case you ask:
Genuine and OEM made both come with warranty.
Clone made no warranty.

My Moto G have 2070mAh non-user removable battery. Max input is 1.5A I also using Note2 2A to charge it for faster full. Charge it for 7months also no explode.

So Mi3 have 3050mAh also non-user removable battery. So shouldn't be a problem.

I found that the Mi3 on Stable ROM with Greenify(Root) can get even greater battery life.

Never tried Xposed framework.

I just wanted to SQUEEZE the battery life even more than all-day-battery life.
