ahh..thanks. didn't noe can dl themes from the forum. Thot they'll update all the themes in the app.

play around by going to Security > Permission >Manage app permission > apps.

tap apps and tap on Trust This App.

I think u got the wrong 'Security'. Not the Security in the setting, is the Security app by xiaomi. The 1 that is on the wallpaper, not the 1 in the setting. Sorry, my bad for not realizing, normal android user sure go the Security in Setting.

No big deal, try to put Trust this app on apps like Whatsapp or Facebook, might fix the notification not appearing problem.

U can also do many advance setting like not allowing ur phone data to access certain app, this will prevent the app from using up ur data plan's quota. Another key feature for miui.

ideally. The new official mi3 thread in android must change TS, new rules, and play hard ball. WHOEVER that post about delivery status, selling their mi3 (scalpers), selling their powerbank, pistons, how to buy, everyone who post anything bout diz, straight away add 10% warning or 20%. This is the only way to stop ppl from spamming the official thread with these type of question, and also this will divert them to the kopitiam version for these type of question.

apparently my previous suggestion was done, but not much ppl take action. Before this I did suggest kopipeng's thread in kopitiam be the official thread for asking or enquiring about sales and delivery. He did change the title, but then, normal user will ask these questions in android subforum official thread right? So it's a bit hard to control them. unless TS mention the about kopitiam delivery and sales thread in the first post. and say whoever post about delivery and sales here will be added to 10% warning.

Mi3 nid a fresh start in android subforum, and nids to be clamp down hard. Which is wad the mod/staff have done to us. Move us all to serious kopitiam. That really hurts. haha. all discuss about gadgets, but then all of a sudden moved to kopitiam, a place for everything, a pasar.

let's wait for a day and see if any mod/staff speak out and tell us what is happening and what is next. We can only wait now.

like i said, the new official mi3 thread in android subforum will nid a new TS, stricter rules. So only solution maybe ask mod to open the thread and monitor it.

But anyway, lets just wait for mod/staff response to our appeal.

kinda agree. I c other tered they also talk about accessories, how to get cheapest price for that particular device, where to buy etc. Maybe too many reports for our mi3 thread.

i admit i report 1 post b4, i only report because that particular owner of mi3 give fake info about mi3, shoo-ing off ppl who ask genuine question about mi3. That person just first time ask question, then that reply post give him wrong info of mi3, say mi3 very teruk, and answer him very impatiently. I reported that post for giving false info for mi3. That's it.

Sometimes ppl ask coz they dy tried Google, but no answer, that why they ask in android subforum. But sumtimes, there are bound to have bad apples, why give fake info and mislead ppl who are asking genuine question? If u feel they bodo and didn't research, u dun nid to reply la. Let those that wanna help around reply those question. this is what I don't like.

well, maybe many ppl like me, I just report once, but when all poster report once, sikit2, lama2 jadi bukit. So mod will see it as spam report.

errr...what has Mediatek chip to do with mi3 and note series? both of them not using Mediatek chip. lol. fyi, mi3 uses Snapdragon 800.

at least Mediatek not running on x86 architecture like Intel SoC which has lack of support for some app. For normal usage, I think Mediatek is ok.

How to check if the powerbank is genuine? My fren's fren help him buy from China, now wanna check if it is original, is there like a imei or sn to check from miui website to check if it is original?

Am using the Papago SGMY M11, GPS locks in within 2 second, and quite stable.

what I did is in Security > Permission > Manage App Permission > Apps > Papago > Trust this app (turn it on).

right after i open Papago app I get this.

mi3 preinstalled with it's own security app. try using that to scan if it can detect the virus. c if it fix the prob.
