QUOTE(monoeye @ Jul 14 2014, 06:28 PM) hi guys, i got a question. my mi3 has been working fine for the past week, but this morning, i got a call and when i picked up, i coudnt hear anything. yeah the earpiece seems to be dead. i switched on speakerphone and sure enough the call was working fine. I found that 'Power Off' and 'Reboot' are different. If you 'Power Off' and start again doesn't work, try the 'Reboot' and see.rebooted phone, switched it totally off and turn back on, then took out the sim tray and put it back in. i also did that hardware test, and yep, cant hear anything through the earpiece as well. no go. i'm judging this is a hardware issue and will take it to the warranty center. juuuust to check though, is there anything else i can try that might save me the trip to PJ? im in cyberjaya..i'd rather not have to make the journey. thanks oh sifus! |

Mine is still 4.4.2 (using Dev ROM 4.7.4 )
maybe DEV ROM 4.7.11 is 4.4.3 already.. but I am still thinking to switch over or stick with currently ( so far 4.7.4 serve me the best )... because i read the changelog for 4.7.11, it is more toward MiPad fixing, not much on Mi3, soooooooo.......... Can you found any different on 4.4.3 ? compare with 4.4.2 ?? :blur: |

4.4.2 > 4.4.3 > 4.4.4 are mostly towards security bugs being fixed rather than performance issues.
For me at least, I feel no difference at all As for miui, seems like a lot of fixes & updates but for normal users like me, it's negligible. I hope V6 will be based on Android L though. |
