Since the day I got the key hand over by developer the building only got unifi service but funny part is all the building surrounding got the time service except mine. may I know what can I do? I don't mind to pay extra installation cost. btw the whole building is fully install with fiber optic untill the living room.

Can someone in Klang valley do a ping test for me?

I'm looking for results to the ip: 88.150.184.34

Looking to switch out of streamyx due to abysmal gaming pings (it has jumped from an avg of 240ms, to 480ms this past month), but first I need to find out if it's actually better elsewhere.

Thanks!

It's the same with TIME. 433ms average round trip.

I think it's the globaltransit.net node that it is travelling on that's causing the huge spike. What server is this?

Thanks, good to know.

It's a VPN I occasionally use, but it's close enough to the Eve Online servers (which don't actually provide a response to a regular ping attempt) that I can use it to get an idea on what my game ping is like.

Sifuz, my friend's house has Time fibre installed and yesterday while he was moving the router to the living room, I believe the linksys x3500 reset itself to default. It has no setting inside now. How do I set it to get it back up?

Thanks

Hi Bro,

Very easy, just tell your friend to refer to the worksheet that the Installer gave it to him after the installation was done, there is a set of Username & Password.
Login to the Linksys Router, choose connection as PPPoE, fill in this set of Username & Password & you are ready to go.
For Wireless, you can set whatever SSID & key that you prefer.

Cheers & Gong Xi Fa Cai !

Hi Bro,

So far there is no report of fiber cut/splitter issue for Gold Coast. I believe yours is individual case, can you make a report to Time CS at 1800 18 1818. Just mention the LOS is blinking in red.

SI will be there to troubleshoot for you real soon.

Thanks.

That was caused by high reading at the FIC connectors.

Feel free to buzz me if you need more help.

That's weird the same thing happened to me last Sunday at about 3am in the morning. I thought it was just a service interruption but when I woke up the modem still had the red blinking light on.

Had to wait till Monday morning for the technician to drop by and he cut the fiber and replaced the plug as well.

Hi, anybody staying around Penang, relau, vista condo mine share your experience in using Time fibre broadband?? Currently I'm very confuse in whether to choose Unifi or Time broadband
*
I'm staying there. I can only say that it is superb and with the 30 hours 50mbps boost, you will never look back. Just get it.
Cheers. I was with Unifi before this. Currently using the 8mbps package.

Yup Bro...it did happen, sometimes due to reading fluctuations & connector problem.

Thanks.
