Thanks for you guys reply. I think might as well go for the 16:9 due to the pricing

Dell U3415W RM41xx
Dell U2715H RM2200
Dell U2515H RM14xx
DO you guys think the Dell U2715H extra 2" for almost RM800 worth it? The dell online chat told me that they are exactly the same except Dell U2715H is bigger by 2". any opinion on this?
*
I'd go for the U2515h personally. How'd you get the RM41xx price for the u3415w? Is that from dell? I'm looking to buy one.

I never used 25" monitor before, it's new for me. panel is most expensive, only 2" extra but cost much higher. beside the size, I don't see any other different. from the panel, bits, technology and color gamut exactly the same. same resolution and connectivity. exactly same design ID.

For me I took the liberty to check the U2715H personally and decided on the spot that it fits what I was looking for. I've decided long ago that anything that costs >RM500 demands more detailed research and a physical checkup before I make the commitment to purchase.

After 2 weeks of using it, I'd say I did not regret picking it up. The screen size fits nicely on my desk. Compared to my previous Viewsonic LCD, desktop is now wider with excellent colors reproduction. The only complaint that I have with the screen is the slight bleed on the left side of the screen that is quite negligible unless I'm running a dark desktop or game. This is going to last me for the next few years until my next upgrade. Hopefully by then 4K/5K and 34" will become more affordable, and I'd have a bigger house for all my toys. tongue.gif

The final choice it's really yours to make as you decide what takes priority - cost or screen size.

Does anyone knows what LCD models that can swivel and tilt and adjust the height like the picture attached? I am not sure whether they still produce 19-20" LCD monitors that is height adjustable.

Most LCD monitors' height can be adjusted nowadays. The better way to ask is whether your target model xx is height adjustable.

I'm from East Malaysia so I directly place an order from Dell Online. Unfortunately they doesn't give any rebate from the official retail price.

In East Malaysia,I could not find a local pc shop that have this model. Alternatively,I just look for reviews and user opinions on this model but doesn't have lot of information about this model. I could find a ton of unboxing and review for the Dell U3415W as well as U2715H but not Dell U2515H.

I placed my order for Dell U2515H instead of Dell U2715H is due to the difference of RM800. I am thinking of getting an another unit if it is satisfy enough. In case if the 25" monitor doesn't look good, I would try to negotiate with the dell representative to waive for the RM80 return fee and get the Dell U2715H instead sad.gif

rule of thumb for 2nd hand things, usually reduce the price abt 15-25% depending on how old and how fast it depreciates. since its monitor, and provided with 5 year warranty, i think reduce abt 15% off the SRP you bought and see how well people find it? hmm.gif

throw it inside GS, this monitor is quite in high demand even for 2nd hand units. i might even buy yours if youre not from East Msia, the shipping would kill me sweat.gif

RM100 more only? there are 2 variant of U2713, the H and HM. H version is said to have been colour calibrated to industry standards.

take your time to read these reviews smile.gif
https://pcmonitors.info/reviews/dell-u2713h/
https://pcmonitors.info/reviews/dell-u2713hm/
https://pcmonitors.info/dell/dell-u2715h-a-slick-wqhd-model/

generally, Dell name their monitors as
U = Ultrasharp series
27 = monitor size
15 = 2015, what else tongue.gif
H/HM = not so sure for this, but M version so far are "less premium"
