QUOTE(agewisdom @ Aug 5 2014, 09:59 AM) Yeah, it's kinda sad. That's why I'm still sticking to my trusted 2008 monitor until now. At least there's still the Dell one but that model is from 2012(?) and hasn't been refreshed, I think. You can buy U 2413 from amazon. That's the only way now 2 upgrade newer 16:10 unless you got money tree for U 3014.

QUOTE(wildwestgoh @ Aug 6 2014, 10:18 AM) This model is not so recommended for casual use, only those seeking for budget entry level colour critical works. High-end IPS to boot, with factory calibrated report, I can say this only useful if you have the calibration tool to make full use of the hardware. does that apply 2 the U2713H also? what made it more than another 1000 bucks more expensive than U2713HM? Haha. My new monitor just started shipping. Today is the start of my last days using my old monitor. I just found the right timing 2 pull hard the trigger after 1 year plus of waiting and holding the money way 2 long in hoping the 1600p will drop 50% cheaper which still did not materialise. 2713hm I post here once it reaches my doorstep. Haha. Hopefully in 5 years time have cheaper 4k monitor with better capable gpu in handling 4k gaming without single sweat. This post has been edited by skylinelover: Aug 7 2014, 01:13 PM

QUOTE(wildwestgoh @ Aug 7 2014, 02:09 PM) The same decision as I bought my 23" last time, the 24" is way too expensive, being over 1K (23" only RM680) last time really break the deal for me, what more it's a TN panel to begin with, capacitive touch button (bad choice) And yeah, post your side of review for this unit, although all of us should already know how powderful this model can be. haha sure 1500 for the 24 inch was not that expensive 4 myself yet but 2 shell 5k plus just 4 the 30 inch is just way 2 blatantly unacceptable and ultimate deal breaker

QUOTE(wildwestgoh @ Aug 11 2014, 07:54 AM) Wow, good deal, but darn shipping to EM is way too expensive for me, will probably ask for local distri here in Kuching when I have the dough to do so, right now I'm prioritize something else. p/s: For the weight of the U2713HM, postage is nearly RM80 Â (poslaju) if DOA I'm sure to bleed dead on site. haha ouch then guess i am very lucky living in peninsular then i clocked 30 successful postage delivery in 2 days each since started working last year This post has been edited by skylinelover: Aug 11 2014, 09:03 PM

once AH-IPS forever AH-IPS...once i sexed up my dell,,,i cannot go back 2 the TN panel any more QUOTE(wildwestgoh @ Aug 17 2014, 07:42 AM) For those of us who takes color slightly serious and don't mind about pixels transition latency (IPS is always slower than TN, no doubt) and lastly we don't mind waiting for it to mature, yeah... after that few years, I'll probably jumped just slightly... 1440p lulz...after 1 week of intensified usages,,,now i finally got bored with 1440p already bring me AH-IPS 4k mang
