i found unboxing for U2515H, but its in chinese. but the pictures look promising
http://tieba.baidu.com/p/3465962123?see_lz=1&pn=1
rule of thumb for 2nd hand things, usually reduce the price abt 15-25% depending on how old and how fast it depreciates. since its monitor, and provided with 5 year warranty, i think reduce abt 15% off the SRP you bought and see how well people find it? hmm.gif

throw it inside GS, this monitor is quite in high demand even for 2nd hand units. i might even buy yours if youre not from East Msia, the shipping would kill me sweat.gif
Thanks for the website. Let's hope that the monitor really look nice when arrive biggrin.gif biggrin.gif Placed order last friday and most probably would be arrive only two weeks after sad.gif damn,so tempting to get it already sad.gif

Okay, thanks for the info smile.gif I would try my luck on GS smile.gif Yea,quite hard to sell those heavy hardware in GS since a lot of them are from West Malaysia. Shipping cost would be an issue to deal sad.gif

Nice rclxms.gif rclxms.gif Do remember to write a short review on the monitor. Most importantly a ton of photos (Y) (Y)

Anyway, mind to pm me how do you get the special price? What is the exact price for the unit? I'm getting two more units soon if satisfy with it. My unit most probably would need around two more weeks to process sad.gif sad.gif

Maybe would place the order after getting your review by tomorrow,so no need to wait another two weeks after getting the first unit sad.gif sad.gif Waiting is killing cry.gif cry.gif

If I'm not wrong, both U2713H and U2713HM are not the latest models. The latest models line would be Dell UP2715L , U3415W , U2515H , U2715H ,P2415Q and P2715Q. Someone do correct me if I'm wrong.

those with 13 at the backs, are year 2013 models

theyre not the newest, either the salesman is pushing off stock, or thats the latest one they got

not every store have the 2015 revisions btw

arb how many year warranty? ill say pay the extra RM300 for the 3-5 years warranty. Dell have a good track record of after sales service, so its definitely worth the money

I think P2715Q haven't reached Malaysia yet, can't find in Dell Malaysia website.
From amazon pricetag, wonder how much it will cost when reached our store.

spec-wise both are similar, with the exception U2713H have the better colour reproduction compared to the U2715H (it comes factory calibrated to industry standards)

they both have USB3.0 ports, uses HDMI and Display Ports, pretty much similar too

design wise, the U2715H is the one with slim bezel. so if its your thing, go for it.

yeah, really like the slim bezel design. but beside this, if you want know any other different, below are the highlight:

U2715H vs. U2713HM

Color Gamut:
CIE1976 - 91% vs. 82%
CIE1931 - 76% vs. 72%

Panel
6 bits vs. 8 bits

and of course the connectivity for U2715H are different also, which is no more DVI and VGA but add DisplayPort out; and add extra 1 more USB port.

some older model still have better panel than U2715H such as U2713H, but much more expensive.

the picture show is Dell old UltraSharp monitor. not all Dell monitor can do this, below are the series summary:
S Series - x
E Series - x
P Series - Yes
UltraSharp Series - Yes

and yes, 19" still available, next is 22" and so on......

My bad. I've made the conclusion after looking at mostly tiltable, pivotable, swivable and height-adjustable monitors and they are mostly from Viewsonic's and Dell's the professional and gaming series. Although I must note that they are priced > RM900 for 22" and above. I suspect the same trend with the other main stream brands - eg Samsung, Asus, HP, Acer etc.

Consult Mr Google and pull out the specification sheet of your target model.

Thanks for your clarification, from your point of view U2713H will be better than U2715H? Sorry i really have no idea what are the figure for color gamut, i assume higher is better?

BTW, i'm still waiting for the quotation from the Dell sales personal, based on the initial quote U2713H is RM100 more expensive than U2715H which is RM1999, i'm try to ask for further discount actually.

djlah, I noticed that you mentioned that U2715H uses a 6-bit panel. Could you please advise what is the panel model type that is used? If it is true, it's amazing how Dell is able to squeeze more accurate colors out of U2715H compared to U2713HM using only 6-bit+A-FRC.

Thanks.

There is a comprehensive review on U2715H but it's in German. Just open the link in Chrome and use the build-in translator to translate to English.

Yes, U2713H panel still better. you're right, higher color gamut are better. U2713H specs are 120% CIE1976 & 103% CIE1931. U2713H pricing is far higher than both U2713HM & U2715H, should not take it as comparison.

you may google for long explanation. in short, with higher bits panel and internal processing, can produce higher number of colors. taking U2713H back as example, it's 8 bits FRC panel with 12 bit internal processing, the number of colors is 1.07 Billion (both U2715H & U2713HM only standard 16.7 Million)

wouldnt most affordable consumer tier monitors these days be 6+2bit monitors? even my U2313HM is 6+2bit, but marketed as 8bit

10bit monitors are extremely rare, and youll need workstation cards to make it run at 10bit anyways
