i found unboxing for U2515H, but its in chinese. but the pictures look promising

rule of thumb for 2nd hand things, usually reduce the price abt 15-25% depending on how old and how fast it depreciates. since its monitor, and provided with 5 year warranty, i think reduce abt 15% off the SRP you bought and see how well people find it? hmm.gif

throw it inside GS, this monitor is quite in high demand even for 2nd hand units. i might even buy yours if youre not from East Msia, the shipping would kill me sweat.gif
RM100 more only? there are 2 variant of U2713, the H and HM. H version is said to have been colour calibrated to industry standards.

take your time to read these reviews smile.gif
https://pcmonitors.info/reviews/dell-u2713h/
https://pcmonitors.info/reviews/dell-u2713hm/
https://pcmonitors.info/dell/dell-u2715h-a-slick-wqhd-model/

generally, Dell name their monitors as
U = Ultrasharp series
27 = monitor size
15 = 2015, what else tongue.gif
H/HM = not so sure for this, but M version so far are "less premium"
*
As per conversation with Dell sales person, he told me that U2713H is the latest model. hope he didn't mess with HM model sweat.gif

those with 13 at the backs, are year 2013 models

theyre not the newest, either the salesman is pushing off stock, or thats the latest one they got

not every store have the 2015 revisions btw
arb how many year warranty? ill say pay the extra RM300 for the 3-5 years warranty. Dell have a good track record of after sales service, so its definitely worth the money
*
What do u think about U2715H compared with U2713H? Based on spec U2713H seem like better than U2715H, i really have no idea about monitor sweat.gif

If I'm not wrong,both U2713H and U2713HM are not the latest models. The latest models line would be Dell UP2715L , U3415W , U2515H , U2715H ,P2415Q and P2715Q. Someone do correct me if I'm wrong.
*
I think P2715Q haven't reached Malaysia yet, can't find in Dell Malaysia website.
From amazon pricetag, wonder how much it will cost when reached our store.

spec-wise both are similar, with the exception U2713H have the better colour reproduction compared to the U2715H (it comes factory calibrated to industry standards)

they both have USB3.0 ports, uses HDMI and Display Ports, pretty much similar too

design wise, the U2715H is the one with slim bezel. so if its your thing, go for it.
*
Thanks! Dell sales person will send me quotation by tomorrow, i will see the price first before make the decision, to be frankly U2715H look much nicer due to its slim bezel thumbup.gif

yeah, really like the slim bezel design. but beside this, if you want know any other different, below are the highlight:
U2715H vs. U2713HM

Color Gamut:
CIE1976 - 91% vs. 82%
CIE1931 - 76% vs. 72%

Panel
6 bits vs. 8 bits

and of course the connectivity for U2715H are different also, which is no more DVI and VGA but add DisplayPort out; and add extra 1 more USB port.

some older model still have better panel than U2715H such as U2713H, but much more expensive.
*
Thanks for your clarification, from your point of view U2713H will be better than U2715H? Sorry i really have no idea what are the figure for color gamut, i assume higher is better?

BTW, i'm still waiting for the quotation from the Dell sales personal, based on the initial quote U2713H is RM100 more expensive than U2715H which is RM1999, i'm try to ask for further discount actually.

U2713H is really good in color gamut, guarantee for those doing photo editing will satisfied, the accuracy are perfect. if you're 100% purely on gaming and your expectation are high on gaming, not to say the responsive are really bad but I don't think neither U2715H or U2713H are perfect for you.
*
Actually i'm not really hardcore in gaming, as i said before i'm using U2312HM currently so far i'm ok with the performance, if U2713H's responsive rate is on par with the it then it is good enough with me. I don't know where i can actually have a look for the monitor, all the info i gather were from the review by others from internet, the reviewers' expectation might be more higher than me hence they don't have good comments on it. I'm struggling between these 2 is bcos the price different is only RM100, otherwise i would just go for U2715H without any thought.

How much U2715H?

I think the performance for gaming on par with 1st gen E-ips

Btw I pick U2713H because of the monitor got DVI port.. My gc didnt have displayport.
*
Slightly lower than RM2k for 3 years warranty, to me as long as have HDMI i'm ok. Maybe i should find shop in lowyat see got any display unit.

I just get feedback from ViewSonic Facebook official site. I hope it can be solve out.

See what solution they give.
*
Hopefully they can provide FOC service, this is really ridiculous! Btw when i purchase the monitor the sale person told me Viewsonic provide on site warranty that was the reason convinced me to buy the monitor other than its pricing.

Bought LG 32GK850G gaming monitor, it is VA panel, color wise slightly washed out if compared with my Dell U2715H which is using IPS panel, but the 144hz refresh rate really looking good, this is first time i have ever use VA panel, before i decide to purchase this monitor i was quite worried, but in reality it is not so bad, overall i'm quite satisfied.

Saw a shop on shopee selling Dell S272DGF slightly cheaper than Dell online & according to the seller they upgraded the warranty to 4 years, seller told that the warranty will be based on their shop invoice. I wonder if i purchase via this type of 3rd party seller do Dell still honor same after sales service & warranty? Anyone can enlighten me?
