you may google for long explanation. in short, with higher bits panel and internal processing, can produce higher number of colors. taking U2713H back as example, it's 8 bits FRC panel with 12 bit internal processing, the number of colors is 1.07 Billion (both U2715H & U2713HM only standard 16.7 Million)

Lolz, I'll just wait for tftcentral's upcoming review on U2715H for the technical details. If anyone got the LG panel model no, it will be them. BTW, initial feedbacks is that it uses LG's latest 8-bit Neo Blade panel which allows the super slim bezel design.

hmm if touch i feel like lack responsiveness .. my finger problem maybe haha
i use to swipe it the surface is matte and not glossy so its not sticky
responsiveness not bad.. dont compare with phone touch screen la haha

comparison with 30 cm ruler/ tupperware tumbler and gastby hair spray .__.

thanks for the comparison, at least it gave me an idea instead of manually measuring based on their sites given width/height

i always feel that certain things must remain physical, and monitor OSD is one of them. god bless them if the capacitive touch screen of their monitor dies D:

doh.gif then why no take 32", 34", etc.... afterward laugh.gif

no la, they are talking about the OSD button, not touch screen monitor. I hope next gen monitor at least revert back 1 psychical button for power. don't like capacitive buttons.

VGA and DVI already been used for so many years, very legacy technology. after 4K, 5K, next coming should be 8K. HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.3 or newer version for next.
