I remember I was considering getting this earlier this year when price was closer to RM3k but decided not to pursue in view of the TN panel at that price point. Looks like the price has dropped quite significantly since then. Here's a review to help you decide if it is a good buy.

I went for broke and got the X34A.

Since you are using NVidia, G-sync would be a good thing to have for the monitor. The Acer XB271HU is a good monitor but SRP is RM3199 with free predator headset. You can try Topmaid in Lowyat for a better price.

I think if buy from Acer who has their own stroke at Lazada is ok... for other seller you can check their ratings to reduce and minimize your risk....

Hi, I'm using Dell S2409W, planning to upgrade to Dell U2515H, need advise here.

Would like to know is it a good idea to switch from 1080p on 24" to 1440p on 25"?
Is texts on 1440p 25" really hard to read?
I mainly use my monitor for gaming, movie, photo/video editing, worth the switch?

I can't find any shops with Dell U5715H display unit......

1. why not? i did and there was no regrets

2. at first it may seem jarring, but after awhile youll get used to it. doesnt even take long

3. gaming on 1440p requires quite abit of graphical power, so if your card is not up to it, i wouldnt recommend as itll just bring on the upgrade frenzy. for work wise, its friggin good, extra resolution space is always welcomed. movie wise, not much diff than usual

My AC/DC adapter Model SAD04914F-UV for my Samsung P2770 is no longer working. No power.
Any idea how much for a new adapter and are they easily available in PC shops? Never had any fail on me till today.
Do I need to look for Samsung AC/DC adapters or any adapters with an output of 14V , 3.5A will do?

Thanks.

recently bought my Acer Predator XB271HU from Gamehypermart for an awesome deal of RM2,599.

Slapped some carbon fiber wrap on it's red feet to match my overall setup.
