I don't think it is a 4k monitor... only problem is TN panel if you don't mind about this then this is a good monitor to get....

I remember I was considering getting this earlier this year when price was closer to RM3k but decided not to pursue in view of the TN panel at that price point. Looks like the price has dropped quite significantly since then. Here's a review to help you decide if it is a good buy.

so which monitor did u buy then? any suggestion for 2.5k budget? biggrin.gif

I went for broke and got the X34A.

Since you are using NVidia, G-sync would be a good thing to have for the monitor. The Acer XB271HU is a good monitor but SRP is RM3199 with free predator headset. You can try Topmaid in Lowyat for a better price.

yep been looking at that monitor too...too bad cant use RM500 coupon at gamehypermart for that monitor..other predator item can use lol...ok will try check out at topmaid..thanks!! smile.gif

I have two monitors, Acer XB271HU and Dell U2713H. I noticed my Dell if I turn it off, windows detects it as disconnected while my XB271HU if I turn it off, it won't be detected as disconnected. Wonder what is the differences here? Both are connected using different display port.

I tried switching the main display but same results. Not that it is an issue just want to know the reson, since I'm using the U2713H as secondary monitor and thus when I turn it off, it disable the extend function.

what gpu are you using?

Planning to get 1440p 144mhz 24' under rm2k so my choice is Dell s2417dg

This monitor totally match my requirements but it's TN panel, now I'm using IPS, I'm not sure I can biasa if change to TN.

And my gc only gtx1070, can support 1440p, gsync and 144mhz in fps game? (Future like cod)

Thanks

Anyone can recommend any good monitor arm for LG 27GL850?

I bought a North Bayou F80 arm today but it has fitting problem. I can either fit in the top or bottom part only as pictures shown below. Any idea how to fix this?

I have done a quick round of searching on Google, but found no useful answers so I am asking here instead.

It's not the end of the world, but I just couldn't understand why.

Anybody know why does Windows 10 not detect I'm using a HDR compatible display when I connect through DisplayPort? I'd get the HDR toggle though, if I use HDMI.

I am using ACER NITRO XV272UP with ASUS STRIX GTX 950 currently, FYI. Appreciate any explanation/help as to why this is happening, thanks!

if i'm not mistaken only DP 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 supports HDR..

Something interesting, my LG 27GL850 is a 2560x1440 monitor and you can’t select higher than 1440p in Windows.
But it is Detect as 4K 2160p resolution when I plugging my Apple TV 4K (2017).

Even the LG Information also show as 3840x2160 resolution. rclxm9.gif

So this monitor is actually 2160p panel? but LG blocked it at Windows? hmm.gif

maybe it's a 4k downscaling?
