QUOTE(chocobo7779 @ Mar 29 2016, 11:10 AM) Yup - but they should work just as well. But I suggest you to get the Acer due to the fact that the Asus seems to suffer from some quality control issues... Yeah, am aware of the backlight bleed issues with the ASUS. Am also considering the Dell S2716DG. It is a TN panel though. Would prefer IPS. It looks more likely that I will go for an ACER XB271HU. Alas, mahal leh!

QUOTE(heizad @ Oct 3 2016, 10:43 PM) oops..sorry...ignore about the 4k part...accidentally wrote it anyway for gaming TN panel should be fine enough right? got below kind of price..any other monitor i should look at as well? [attachmentid=7674829] I remember I was considering getting this earlier this year when price was closer to RM3k but decided not to pursue in view of the TN panel at that price point. Looks like the price has dropped quite significantly since then. Here's a review to help you decide if it is a good buy.

QUOTE(heizad @ Oct 11 2016, 02:00 PM) so which monitor did u buy then? any suggestion for 2.5k budget? I went for broke and got the X34A. Since you are using NVidia, G-sync would be a good thing to have for the monitor. The Acer XB271HU is a good monitor but SRP is RM3199 with free predator headset. You can try Topmaid in Lowyat for a better price.
