Yup, I know there isn't a demo unit around to test and get hands on experience. U could try Lowyat Plaza. They might have a test unit. Otherwise, can check out the online reviews... Saw a couple of them before..

On IPS panel, it is prone to backlight bleed. Some ppl are ok with it, some are very particular about the backlight bleed. Personal preference I guess smile.gif

Im stuck on what monitor to get atm...Looking for a 27-inch IPS with like 4-5ms or below response time.

60% entertainment 40% gaming. With DisplayPort >.<

Budget 1.2k below

So far i've looked at Viewsonic VX2776-smhd and the AOC i2769VM, anymore good recommendations? Or which of the 2 would you guys pick?

I'm using U2715H at home with its native resolution of 2560x1440. Initially the text and icons looked small but after using it for few days, your eyes will adjust to it. No regrets switching to 1440p at all smile.gif
I was using U2414H previously before the 27" and the difference is quite significant.

Next year might consider upgrade to U2717D tongue.gif

Looking to buy a 27" monitor with budget around RM1000. Mainly use for gaming (mostly dota 2) and watching shows. Any good recommendation?

One of my biggest worry... the nightmare is when brand new got dead pixel already.... if I understand correctly... a few pixels of black dead pixel is still acceptable and cannot claim warranty...

Can consider the Dell U2515H. It's a 25" 1440p monitor.
Well within your budget and you'll still have some extra $ to spend.
PM me for best price.

For gaming TN should be good.... IPS panel mostly favored by those who do more stuff on image editing and video editing etc...and IPS panel will not have response time like 1ms.... smile.gif
