QUOTE(intothefantasy @ Jul 13 2015, 09:20 AM) Oops. My bad for the confusing statement.1% is only for first RM 1k for online and overseas transactions. Subsequently after that is 0.1% I think. http://www.ocbc.com.my/assets/pdf/Cards/Cr...uncement_v2.pdf This post has been edited by fruitie: Jul 13 2015, 09:52 AM |

i just got my july statement, i only have 2 transactions.
one for insurance and one for online transaction. cash rebate for everything is 0.1%. so i called up the CS to check why my online transaction is only 0.1% rebate. the answer i got is, you will get 0.1% for everything in your first statement after the transaction. the balance 0.9% cash rebate for online transaction will only be credited in the NEXT statement for eligible transactions. i will check my august statement and update if that is really the case. |

QUOTE(confuzan @ Jul 13 2015, 01:12 PM) i just got my july statement, i only have 2 transactions. so lousy their new rebate system....still need wait 1 month to complete full rebate ... that might be the reason why 1 month will have 2-3 times of cr rebate adjustment....one for insurance and one for online transaction. cash rebate for everything is 0.1%. so i called up the CS to check why my online transaction is only 0.1% rebate. the answer i got is, you will get 0.1% for everything in your first statement after the transaction. the balance 0.9% cash rebate for online transaction will only be credited in the NEXT statement for eligible transactions. i will check my august statement and update if that is really the case. haiz..ocbc, your benefit/convenience to customer from down 100% to 0% in less than 1 year... previously you gave highest cashback, everyone like it.. now you gave lowest cashback + lousy cash back calculation system, everyone scold/ignore your card like shit. 5% > 1% > 0.1% , what's next? 0.01%? even UOB one card offers 0.3%, lol lol ~ anyway, i just instructed to cancel the card last week, though the card looks shiny blue, appealing... but useless in reality. the officer asked me for the reason to terminate the card, i replied hmm.. i dont see any reason for me to hold the card, no perk, basically, nothing. not even points collection, and the bank just earn their transaction fee, and give us nothing, but jz pathetic 0.1%. My purchase at Lazada, paying at celcom.com.my & tm.com.my were all given 1% cashback. But in 0.1% + 0.9% proportions. An overseas transaction for RM2,600 was given RM26 cash back so there is no limit to the 1% cash back for online & overseas transactions.
