What is happening at the Malaysian side of OCBC? Scaling down benefits as if non existent. Lucky it's business as usual in Singapore side.

OCBC, just like Public Bank was never very keen in the unsecured lending business (credit card being one of them).

Is payment of utilities via PayOnline considered "online payment"?

my OCBC world card...
used to have 1.2% unlimited cash back... get like RM70-100 per month...
settle promptly then feels like discount esp when over seas as they charge 1% on currency then rebate 1.2%... so overall almost as good as cash in hand...

now its limited to RM1000 per month... which is RM12! per month
whats the point?

it is quite ridiculous for me on the recent rebate changes.. from 5% to 1% again reduced to 0.1% yet without offer any reward point program.

Guess what, OCBC Titanium is being reduced to 0.1%. That's even more pathetic. laugh.gif

so insulting...

if you have ge insurance, convert your existing to ge card for 1% up to rm1k. otherwise get yourself a aeon watami cc for 3% quarterly rebate.

I must admit their cancellation process is very straightforward, the easiest card I've cancelled. The rest will ask what's the reason, offer something to retain card, take like 1 week at least.

Call OCBC, CS pick up, tell want to cancel card, CS say ok, check OCBC account next day card missing already

Hi guys,

i noticed all the cards have been updated on OCBC website where it says 1% for the first RM1,000, then either 0.5% or 0.1% on other spend.

However, i still see OCBC GE card listing as 1%, with no amendment made to subsequent spend. So is that card unlimited 1%?

Wah, sifu. Thanks. i planning to get Hong Leong Essential card for unlimited 1%. Because on GE side, no upfront discount, last time pay insurance with OCBC GE got 5% discount on insurance premium, now no more. Better use Hong Leong Essential now.

juz saw your post on list of loyalty cards. you requested second payment from shopback and milkadeal.

I need 4 - 5 months just to accumulate the minimum RM10 from milkadeal to cash out. You are a really high spender eh.

Since you so pro in promo, did you switch to First Basic 38, its the best mobile deal in town right now eh.
