Get UniFi.
But do check with Time if Time Home Fibre is available in your area.

If Time Fibre is available, subscribe with them as they're the best.

Check the settings to see if wireless is disabled.

Otherwise, you might have a faulty router.

It shouldn't, but just double check just in case.

think u shud call unifi, get to the tech line, ask the guy to troubleshoot online with u.

my experience with the orig unifi modem n router:

.. restarting modem n router is something i used do everytime the speed drops significantly - modem first, then router. it works usually. if it doesn't, i call unifi to refresh, 1 minute late, i repeat restarting process. works every time.
.. if no light at all on either device, it has failed; modem, unifi will replace foc. router, u buy yrself
.. wifi light only comes on if there is a device active on wifi.
.. is yr hypptv box still there? plug it in, see if it works. if it does, it means the modem n router r fine, at least for that.
.. when u get to it, get a better router. yr dlink router works ok but is not good for wifi strength and range. better router, more stable, less headaches, less chance of need to restart, stronger/wider wifi coverage.
.. keep modem n router on 24/7 - bad idea to switch on/off everytime u sleep or go out...

try not to waste yr paid unifi hours - call them and get help when ready!

Well, it's always better to replace the TM-supplied wireless router to 3rd party ones. If low budget, a TP-Link TL-WR841ND will do, but better still to go for one of the Asus routers with support for TM UniFi.

Anyway guys, i sorted it out with TM Unifi through phone-call

Here's the cause for it:

The router experienced sudden power shutdown or shortage which caused it to go back to default status (all lights still switched on except wireless light)

Basically, TM unifi reconfigured my LAN network to my PC from their side and lastly after i logged into my pc, they taught me on how to reconfigure my wireless network configuration (d-link 'webpage')

Thanks for the feedbacks from y'all!

Hi there, i am thinking to upgrade my streamtx to unifi 5mbsz

However i am not sure whether unifi have any download quota.

As if i download movie everyday(lets say 5gb/day)

Will the speed cap at some point ? Or it is like streamyx no cap at all ?

Thanks

Just like streamyx.. not just TM but all other ISP that offering unlimited data will start use quota system, but we do not know when and who will start it first...

Anyone still having problems with corrupted downloads through Unifi?

I've been taking advantage of a substantially speedy Unifi connection to download ZIPs from paysites and FLVs from Twitch that measure up to hundreds of megabytes, but the connection constantly spits out files that are either inaccessible or corrupted while my slow-as-balls Streamyx connection at home is able to completely download working files despite constant disruptions in the download process and the extremely long wait time.

it pops up every time
i suspect it pops up even tho the server I'm trying to contact is on
its as if telekom just route to them for advert money

example i try repeatedly to connect to an oversea website this afternoon
just for it to bounce to their stupid ad page..1,2,3,4,5..10 times refresh STILL THE SAME
i use my phone and type the address in... and guess what. its connected instantly
piece of crap (money grabbing, monopolising) routing by streamyx/unifi i must say
paying so much for their crappy service and now forcing me to read their annoying add again
changing all my dns to google dns from now on
