I can say it sucks, it's not even stable at 400MHz 5-5-5-15 and +0.3 vDimm. It has been limiting me all the time from going beyond 3GHz.  mad.gif

LOL mine can't even go beyond 2.8ghz with this KVR

not the brand larr, its bout the chipset used for the ram  whistling.gif

maybe that's what u meant, but other people might interpret it differently. it looked like kvr hynix 533 is alwiz better than any cvs 667 tongue.gif

cvs also has good chip on their ram. For eg, try getting cvs with a square chip with 1 single brown dot at the corner of the chip.. not the rectangular chip.. that's how my cvs looked biggrin.gif

Usually you guys use orthos to prime your CPU or RAM or both?

I see most of you guys just stress your CPU using the gromacs core only. Most of the time I can pass this test for more than 10 hours but when I start to stress my RAM, it'll fail after merely 1 minute.
*
im now stressing my 430x7 @ 1.35vcore, vdimm +0.2v @ 5-4-5-12, vmch and vfsb +0.2v..i stress blend test wif orthos....i stress orthos ,run memtest windows & dual super PI 32m...just wake up and superi PI passes..orthos stil running and memtest stil running..izit stable enough? izit recommended? orthos is almost 10hrs++ liao..
