I would say there was a rivalry between the two clubs but it was more of Rafa vs Jose than Liv vs Chelsea.

Right now though Rodgers definitely have a better relationship with Jose than Jose with Pellegrini.
*
Could be, but no one did give Rodgers a ghost of a chance to lead Liverpool in an genuine assault at the league title.

The pressure isn't the same. Look at the expectations that was on the ex manu manager.

I would imagine it would be a different front that he (Rodgers) will have to face next season

Bro, we have up and coming Sterling can play up front with either struj and Suarez, and Let's hope our midfielders can contribute more next season.

and we're not expect sturidge to fit whole season. and who knows suarez might get injured at the same time. we are lucky suarez is not easy to get injured.

to add 2 fullbacks which is so expensive (Shaw and COleman) is not wise. Enrique will be back next season. perhaps we only need 1 fullback who can play both side. and winger to add flair. we can see what player BR loan and that is his target for next season. 1 winger and 1 fullback. perhaps 1 more striker to go.

Chill bro, everyone fill free to chip in their tots on who we should buy with 60m pound. for me we should improve our defense first, if we can keep more clean sheets, meaning we no need to score more than 2 goal can already get the W. And that our strikers can relax a bit coz they have been carrying the whole team this season. It's now to improve defense and sometimes let strikers rest a little bit for some games.

This is false.

Let's say [Schwarzer - Azpi - Cahill - Iva - ACole - Ramires - Matic - Oscar - Willian - Schurrle - Ba] is currently their strongest lineup taking into account the injuries. Try putting together a 2nd completely different lineup. You will find yourself struggling to complete their back 4 and they are lacking quality in the central midfield area.

when i comment on their depth, of course i excluded injuries and suspension from it. the above squad you listed is still very capable to challenge any team in europe even with chelsea current injuries. chelsea still have slight chance to go for bpl, i dont think he will give up so easily.

Capable yes but what I'm saying is even without injuries you will find it difficult to complete their back 4. That should be their first string lineup at the moment but the second string is filled with holes. I'm only disputing the argument that Chelsea is capable of fielding 2 different lineups that is strong enough to challenge the title.

MU have a clause that if DM didnt qualift for CL, he will only get 1 year compensation if he get sacked. which is why they waited till MU gone out from the CL before doing it,

the board not actually stupid to pay him 6 years salary for nothing lol

Heh I really thought he can get that much. laugh.gif

I watched a few Almeria games and noticed Suso is playing well there. He's got vision like Coutinho, the weight of his passes are better than Countho too. Most of Almeria's attack comes from Suso. I hope he is given a chance to shine in Liverpool.

expecting BR to invite Moyes to be at Anfield as a guest after getting sacked.

After all, BR did invite some sacked manager to Anfield last time.

only sacked manager know how lonely sacked manager felt

BR was sack before so he knows the feeling.

Really Kecian moyes. The whole thing is so shambolic. Well he can relax for 1 yr since he got compensation and take this time to learn how to manage a football club the modern way.

we have a small squad but good depth because a few players more than capable to play more than one position..but if the player injured..it will take with him a few depth of a few position..

I don't kecian him at all. Sure the manc job is one in the biggest if not the biggest football job in the world but all the blame lies solely on him. I would have a bit of sympathy for him if he was being undermined by the mancs but that was not the case at all. The mancs backed him to the hilt and even spent loads of money on players. Rafa and even Hogdson did not have that luxury. Even Kenny's 'disastrous' season won the club a trophy.
