I think Chelsea fans generally don't have a problem with LFC fans....

but maybe in terms of Financial War... they would want to beat MC. rclxms.gif

I would say there was a rivalry between the two clubs but it was more of Rafa vs Jose than Liv vs Chelsea.

Right now though Rodgers definitely have a better relationship with Jose than Jose with Pellegrini.

I think BR should realize by now JM's a master at mind games. After all, he's worked under him before. biggrin.gif 4 full days of rest before the match against LFC and no need to travel to Spain for their match against AM. Wholesale changes? Nah, don't think so. Maybe only 2 or 3. Players nowadays are fitter than ever. Remember how many games they played the season they won the CL?

LFC 24 year wait for the League title.

Chelsea would love to add to the sole CL winners medal.

Let both manchester club touch themselves. rclxms.gif

chelsea have enough depth to field 2 different teams, surely a mind games from mou. but if the news of cech is true, surely a good news for us, cech is miles better than schwarzer. chelsea pretty much have cover for every other position.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers will be handed £60m by the club’s board for a transfer splurge this summer on the back of a terrific season at Anfield, according to reports from the Daily Star.

The Northern Irishman may yet lead the Reds to a first ever Premier League title, but it is thought that his securing of Champions League football for next term has prompted the Merseysiders’ hierarchy to give him added backing in the coming months.

Rodgers was likely to have significant funds in place for additions even if he missed out on a top four finish, but the added TV revenue and income from European action is set to swell his budget to £60m.

This could be further boosted by player sales, with some fringe stars set to be made available.

Rodgers is likely to be thrilled by the news, and may even be able to compete with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City for big name players this summer.

Liverpool’s owners are also set to hand their manager a new contract once the campaign ends to keep him in place as they aim to build a side capable of challenging at the top of the English game in the coming years.

Yevhen Konoplyanka is believed to be an immediate target for the club, while Henrikh Mkhitaryan – whom they missed out on last year – and Kyriakos Papadopoulos are other names on their radar, with Rodgers keen to attract a higher calibre of player after guaranteeing Champions League action.

This is false.

GK Petr Čech (injured)
DF Branislav Ivanović
DF Ashley Cole
DF David Luiz
MF Ramires
MF Frank Lampard
FW Fernando Torres
MF Oscar
MF John Obi Mikel
FW André Schürrle
MF Mohamed Salah
MF Marco van Ginkel
MF Eden Hazard (late fitness test)
FW Demba Ba
MF Nemanja Matić
MF Willian
GK Mark Schwarzer
DF Gary Cahill
DF John Terry (injured)
DF Nathan Aké
DF César Azpilicueta
FW Samuel Eto'o (injured)
DF Tomáš Kalas
GK Henrique Hilário
GK Jamal Blackman

Let's say [Schwarzer - Azpi - Cahill - Iva - ACole - Ramires - Matic - Oscar - Willian - Schurrle - Ba] is currently their strongest lineup taking into account the injuries. Try putting together a 2nd completely different lineup. You will find yourself struggling to complete their back 4 and they are lacking quality in the central midfield area.

Not alot considering rumour of MU board preparing to spend 150m, prepare to see some crazy price over the summer especially after world cup. I hope BR grab a few bargain here and there
