I'm worried that our keeper can't handle crosses well and our defense have a hard time dealing with teams that bombard crosses into the penalty box. Mignolet really needs to improve his reading of the game and handling the ball.

QUOTE(Tiffany Hwang @ Apr 21 2014, 03:10 PM) Leeds? So so.....closer? nah ..should be at least 2-3 more season for promotion now in mid table and maybe 10 years or more back to CL I too wish to see Leeds back in PL. Harry Kewell, Alan Smith and Viduka were players I watch back then.

Simply put we can only afford to draw once and win twice to be crowned champions.

I watched a few Almeria games and noticed Suso is playing well there. He's got vision like Coutinho, the weight of his passes are better than Countho too. Most of Almeria's attack comes from Suso. I hope he is given a chance to shine in Liverpool.

I'm pretty sure many of us here today feel gutted. I for one, could not stop thinking about the blunder that cost us the first goal. Couldn't sleep last night, kept thinking Chelsea's bus in front of the goal and what could have been. We've already exceeded expectations, all hope is not lost, 2 more games to go for Liverpool, we focus on winning the last two and see if Man City slips. YNWA

On a lighter note, Sturridge, Suarez and Stevie named in the PFA Premier League team.

QUOTE(Mikeshashimi @ Apr 28 2014, 03:45 PM) Well, can't blame the second goal.. We were terribly desperate to score, and with the corner. We all went forward. Only for Aspas to hand chelsea the opportunity to score the second. The first goal was painful to watch. We weren't creative enough to penetrate Chelsea's defense. Gerrard was too desperate to make amends for his first half error. 2nd goal didn't mean anything. The first was a blunder from Gerrard, Ba took his chance. Simple as that. Mignolet had a good game. We actually didn't have to win the game, we could have played for a draw and be careful not to be caught out. We only need 7 points to win the PL. But the game is done and dusted, look ahead for the next. I'm looking to Everton VS Man City game and our two remaining games.

Funny thing though, I'm not bashing Chelsea in any way, but didn't Mourinho complain about West Ham playing the same way? Calling it 19th century football

QUOTE(yeelong @ Apr 29 2014, 11:13 AM) Ah Moo will say, just lay down and let liverpool score for 15 goals. John Terry would be seen "fouling" her a lot

QUOTE(reehdus @ Apr 29 2014, 02:54 PM) I agree, we play fast paced football and always go for the win. But my comment on naivete is the same. We let them get to us. We let their time wasting and frustrating tactics eat at us. Which is why I will still say we could've exercised more maturity. It's understandable, anyone's gonna get upset. But that frustration costed us. True, we went out to get a win (which is not wrong) whereas, we could have sat back too and play for a draw as it would benefit our title chase. Anyways, one things for sure, I'm wearing Merseyside blue this weekend

QUOTE(prophetjul @ Apr 29 2014, 04:33 PM) Seen the wins since 1976. That's 9 times, mostly when I was studying in UK. I supported Liverpool at age 8. That was back in 1998 so no chance to witness us winning EPL.

QUOTE(prophetjul @ Apr 29 2014, 04:45 PM) Come May will be your first time. Last time was not EPL. It was the English 1st division. That's why on Saturday I'm wearing Merseyside blue for a day.

QUOTE(melt @ May 5 2014, 03:44 PM) With the attacking power of MCity have, we might need more. They are playing the remaining 2 games at home and they are definitely not goal shy at home. Pray for a goaless draw when they play either Aston Villa or West Ham. 10 man defence!
