chelsea have enough depth to field 2 different teams, surely a mind games from mou. but if the news of cech is true, surely a good news for us, cech is miles better than schwarzer. chelsea pretty much have cover for every other position.

QUOTE(Mikeshashimi @ Apr 23 2014, 09:57 AM) Yea... Jose would rather die than let Pellegrini have the last laugh if liverpool win the league, chelsea ucl and arsenal fa cup, all the "big" teams each won a trophy this season. mc with league cup and mu with community shield dont la.. LFC 24 year wait for the League title. Chelsea would love to add to the sole CL winners medal. Let both manchester club touch themselves. |

QUOTE(Cloud0890 @ Apr 23 2014, 10:16 AM) This is false. when i comment on their depth, of course i excluded injuries and suspension from it. the above squad you listed is still very capable to challenge any team in europe even with chelsea current injuries. chelsea still have slight chance to go for bpl, i dont think he will give up so easily.Let's say [Schwarzer - Azpi - Cahill - Iva - ACole - Ramires - Matic - Oscar - Willian - Schurrle - Ba] is currently their strongest lineup taking into account the injuries. Try putting together a 2nd completely different lineup. You will find yourself struggling to complete their back 4 and they are lacking quality in the central midfield area. |

mou got his tactic right against us, liverpool were clueless and lacked ideas against their defensive display.

personally felt lacking quality players in bench cost us today, mou able to get torres and willian for ba and salah, while liverpool got an unfit sturridge and i-dont-know-what-his-contribution aspas. credit to chelsea for their display, now we desperately need crystal palace and everton help.

i think the biggest difference is mou didn't setup to park his bus from 1st minute. they score 1st but they still didn't put 10 man behind the ball. his tactic fail to stifle am attack, plus am passing were miles better than us. the away goal prove to be the deadliest, it force chelsea to come out attack and leave space behind for am to exploit.
