1) Do Sporean car go thru designated checkpoint lanes at the CIQs thus making them clear faster then Msia cars or is it the same congestion.
2) Can Malaysians buy Sporean cars?
3) Can Malaysians drive Sporean cars in Spore wt Malaysian driving licence?

Just wondering, anyone here work in the marine industry?
How did you all manage to enter in the first place? Most of the job add that I came across were either reserved for locals or requires a certain amount of experience. Seems really difficult for someone from another industry to jump into this field. I found out that NTU is offering a master in maritime studies and I'll need to obtain a CoC as well, but I'm quite concerned about the prospect after graduation if I were to embark on this path. I'm hoping to gain more insight in this field and some hands on experience first if possible..

Hi all, I will be relocating to Singapore next month and am currently looking for a HDB to rent with budget about 2k. Preferably semi furnished. Work place is near Jurong East MRT Station

Any particular area or block I should look into? Just want to have a better idea before I head down to Singapore to enlist the help of an agent. Currently looking in Jurong, clementi, chinese garden area..

Edit ./ I am not looking for property agents. Don't pm please.

If it is max 2k budget for rental of whole HDB unit, there are not many choices to start with.

if your work place near jurong east mrt, then you can search Ivory Height(walking distance to JE MRT), Toh Guan(about 4 bus stop from JE mrt), or maybe HDB around Seventh-Day Heaven Adventist Church. But not sure 2K is enough to rent whole HDB or not.

Should be OK ba, West area the HDB rental and prices seem to be a tad bit lower than the rest of the island so it's probably possible to get an older, smaller (2-bedroom or studio) hdb.

I'm a property agent, don't doubt me leh...haha, just kidding. There are some but not many choices with whole unit rental at Jurong East at 2k budget, unless he is willing to consider Jurong West, Pandan or Teban, etc. Jurong East is now hot area in Singapore because of the 3 new shopping centres with more coming up.
