Finally, an alternative to go Ipoh. Four times weekly services to be launched between JB-Ipoh. Timing is not perfect, but should put downward pressure on SG-Ipoh ticket price.

Commencing 15 Sep 2014 - 25 Oct 2014
Johor Bahru - Ipoh Route  Day  Flight No  Departure  Arrival  Fly Time
Johor Bahru - Ipoh  Mon, Wed, Fri & Sun  FY2252  10:20  11:45  1:25
Ipoh - Johor Bahru  Mon, Wed, Fri & Sun  FY2253  12:05  13:30  1:25

Seems like consultant is really a dead end career without a PE based on the salaries other industries are commanding nowadays:(
Maybe I'll need to rethink my career path...

Just wondering, anyone here work in the marine industry?
How did you all manage to enter in the first place? Most of the job add that I came across were either reserved for locals or requires a certain amount of experience. Seems really difficult for someone from another industry to jump into this field. I found out that NTU is offering a master in maritime studies and I'll need to obtain a CoC as well, but I'm quite concerned about the prospect after graduation if I were to embark on this path. I'm hoping to gain more insight in this field and some hands on experience first if possible..

Urh, my boss keeps changing my working hours!! Sometimes it's the regular 8-5 but sometimes it's odd late evening hours like 11am-8pm or worse 1pm-10pm. Are they even allowed to simply change my working hours as they wish?? my letter writes something along the lines of *company has the right to change working hours if deemed necessary* but this was not as per discussed and agreed in the interview!! I can't even arrange any classes after work with this fluctuating working time

But why my boss said I am only entitle leave after ONE year of service? Meaning my first year of service i HAVE NO annual leave.. Wow..

Hi,

I'm going to start working in Singapore on this coming October.

Can I know if I'm going to move to Singapore, will I need to open all my boxes to let the custom check? Or just like airport, put into some kind of scanner?

Thanks!

Have to. Especially for first timer coming from Malaysia due to concern surrounding ISIS's threat.
They will isolate you in a separate interrogation room and conduct a thorough search. By thorough, I mean really checking every single thing, up to the point that you may be stripped stark naked in an empty cold room!
You have been warned my friend. Singapore means business!
