1) Do Sporean car go thru designated checkpoint lanes at the CIQs thus making them clear faster then Msia cars or is it the same congestion.
2) Can Malaysians buy Sporean cars?
3) Can Malaysians drive Sporean cars in Spore wt Malaysian driving licence?
*
1. No, same route for all cars
2. Yes
3. Yes, only for 12 months starting from the day you got your work pass.

Just wondering, anyone here work in the marine industry?
How did you all manage to enter in the first place? Most of the job add that I came across were either reserved for locals or requires a certain amount of experience. Seems really difficult for someone from another industry to jump into this field. I found out that NTU is offering a master in maritime studies and I'll need to obtain a CoC as well, but I'm quite concerned about the prospect after graduation if I were to embark on this path. I'm hoping to gain more insight in this field and some hands on experience first if possible..

reign226, just promoted as Manager in one of the biggest Marine company in Sg

I got EP and my salary <3k. I also dunno why.
Nowadays so hard to apply PR.  cry.gif

I went to JobFair yesterday at Marina. Most of the employers only interested on Singaporean and PR only especially financial and property industry. Eat sand liao sweat.gif
*
this JobFair don't even bother going. If they advertise the job for FT, next day sure end up in Stomp.

I think you're referring to this news sometime back: Singapore Shuns Workers

If you're capable, no reason for SG to discriminate.
*
for everyone that is 'capable' there, there is always someone better elsewhere, amid, with a better attitude.

Work in SG

never ever become a PR > if you do the math calculations. It does not worth it

Just get S PASS and enjoy 4000$ SGD everymonth
IT system engineer ? which company you worked for ?

To get that high pay on IT systems must be a professional  shocking.gif
*
maybe you can explain why getting extra contribution from employers is not worth it ? or you can explain about the cheaper healthcare ? or cheaper education ? stop making stupid sweeping statement without facts or argument.

wow so fast angry already

Oh wait nevermind you will never earn more than 2500$ anyways useless explain the math to you.

Cheaper healthcare ? LOL

Cheaper education ? what ? Polytechnics are still paid fully by PR and NUS as well

Only singaporeans get the edu save plan

Plus most of us already have a degree before work . Its pointless to work with just a college or diploma. Waste of time because by the time you want to sit a higher level , you still need a degree.
*
LOL ? Is that all you can said, after your parents paid so much for your so called 'degree' ?
Maybe you could try to 'explain' the math, not everyone is as dumb as you, as you would like to believe.
