QUOTE(soven @ Jun 27 2014, 12:13 AM) Hi all, I will be relocating to Singapore next month and am currently looking for a HDB to rent with budget about 2k. Preferably semi furnished. Work place is near Jurong East MRT Station Any particular area or block I should look into? Just want to have a better idea before I head down to Singapore to enlist the help of an agent. Currently looking in Jurong, clementi, chinese garden area.. Edit ./ I am not looking for property agents. Don't pm please. if your work place near jurong east mrt, then you can search Ivory Height(walking distance to JE MRT), Toh Guan(about 4 bus stop from JE mrt), or maybe HDB around Seventh-Day Heaven Adventist Church. But not sure 2K is enough to rent whole HDB or not.

QUOTE(RecruitingTheBest @ Jul 24 2014, 08:59 AM) Once you get the PR nope no bad record on MOM. If you're on S or EP, maybe, if your employer makes a complain on you to MOM. This may affect your future S Pass or EP approvals, etc. I see...hmm, dont think my employer got anything to complain about me, looking forward to get a PR for more job opening.

QUOTE(alaskanbunny @ Jul 23 2014, 11:54 AM) generally no, but the HR of your previous company will have a lot of redundant work PR by ICA, work by MOM I see, because my company now apply the two month notice policy, very troublesome, seem like no company willing to wait for two month, my skill set not unique also. better get PR then resign only start looking.

QUOTE(justjoe @ Sep 30 2014, 09:29 PM) Guys, if i submit my resignation letter in early December and the notice period is one month, will I still be entitled to AWS?? Once you submit are consider not part of the company, dont think you will entitled to AWS. one month notice period is just for you to handover your work and other thing.
