i dont think that's the sign for 3ROD

3ROD is when the 360 keep hanging and you have to restart the thing....
after you restart and keep on doing that...then after awhile it will not boot...then 3ROD lights flash...then bye bye

*touch wood* Just now tried playing online NFSC match and twice also made my 360 hang. Damn scared, the new game update must have screwed up some stuff

I also have this error only if i left my Disc overnight in my console..but this only happens to my GoW and PGR3 only...

Mine will have a scary sound like the disc was stuck inside but no scratches..if im not mistaken MUNKY also got this problem...

scpt, I think it's normal during this time of period since tmnut not 100 fixing their problem. My 360 also happen to hang on the friendlist / message page. The best solution (which I find out) is to press the guide button and acess your friendlist from there. do not press at the first blade friendlist. That help me so far from hang..

Well guys, I have officially join this topic. My 360 just died on me last week, took it to Bro Djin's shop hoping there's a solution to it. Wat happen was the machine keep on freezing on me regardless weather im playing arcade games, let the machine run or any particular discs. The machine just keeps on freezing.

I've decided to get a new one, sending my problematic one back to Japan (for repair).Haiiii...there goes my intention to grab Wii and PS3.

Oh if you guys are wondering it's Jap set, I think 1st batch. Shit man feel so crappy and lost now. And on top of that Lost Planet on the way.......shiiiiiiiittt.

Well if you were in USA, then you will get a new xbox 360 as they were extended their warranty on it due to manufacturer defective issue.

I though all the first batch of Japan set sure dun have this problem....

How long I play ahhh...wah very hard to say. On weekends memang puluh habis til next morning. Weekdays 2-3 hrs only. But i think its quiet relative la guys. Macam bila I kena this problem....I baru start my console 1-2mins dah kaput.

Last week was not so bad, bila freeze i reboot/restart a few times then ok.Yesterday no matter how many times i reboot/restart always hang and now and then keluar the stupid red light.

My friend's 360 hangs while playing RV6 online..happened a few times already. When it hangs, sometimes the red light will blink. He bought it from Connie, Asian version in March I think.

We're not sure if it's the update that's the issue or the ROD is impending..sigh. So tonight he's going to try another game to see if it hangs, failing that, clearing all updates.
