i do read abt how SGP gamers deal with the warranty & RMA there. pretty smooth, as long as u follow the procedures (call 1st to get service number than go exchange at appointed time), only thing is they will replace with a 'tested' set.

the thing is sets exported here wont have proper warranty info linked to a SGP address, perhaps that's complicating the RMA procedure?

arghhhhh....i can drive down to Singapore this few days...but it doesnt seem that easy to be done when i get there...

hm, not sure if djinn supplier will ever read this, but the 1st SGP distributor who treats ori gamers over here properly and help with any RMA will monopolize all the grey export market

maybe email jacky (bob creator and G3 boss) for help

AFAIK, MS will replace 1 to 1. even last time in HK, they replace mine 1 to 1 when i accidently hit my drive tray. told them it couldn't eject out but actually it was my mistake

Anyone here familiar with the "Unable to read disc. Please wipe with a clean cloth... restart your console" (can't remember exactly, but it's something like that) error?

FYI, my games are as clean as new.

Initially I thought this error is only exclusive to my GOW disc... but I got it when playing Oblivion as well (so far only once).

A sign of 3ROD, maybe?


Btw, I have a friend who bought a 2nd batch PAL console, and he's experienced this error as well. Plus on certain occasions he even had his discs scratched by the machine!
According to him upon inserting the disc the drive would sound really noisy and the next thing you know, the disc have scratches.

But since he's in the UK, he can simply get a 1-to-1 exchange from the stores there.
