If it's really the heat thatt causes the problem then in trouble edy. My hall has a very big TV(which I'm planning to use to play my Xbox 360 in the future). My hall has air-con, but my parents always advise me not to off it. I can already bet my 360 will die soon if I keep it there

This problem sucks. Wii doesn't have big blue light of death, PS3 doesn't have making crabs sounds problem. Why 360 like that wan! Btw, is the new batch of 360s that will have no 3ROD problem be a redesign or the same thing?

Actually, the 360 launch in 2005 is OK what. Never heard of this problem until seen people talk about it. Now I have to choose, Halo or MGS Hmm

I though all the first batch of Japan set sure dun have this problem....

my 360 become.. more slower.. than before after new updates... dam tul la.. M$.. the updates make my machine.. become.. more worst.. not better... .. hope tak kena 3ROD la...

I don't know if tak jadi fix must pay or not. Thats why I didn't send mine in

to be frank, once you got 3ROD, forever 3ROD.

i had mine last year december, first batch 360. till oct it died on me, so i sent it to Bro Metalgrindsolid. manage to fixed but guess what, only workable for 1 day, turn on next day died on me again. but metalgrindsolid provides 2 years after service warranty to me though, will send back my console to him once i have time.

not only happened to mine console, i think most of the ppl whom repaired their console from 3rod faced the same fate.

so i guess for those who own modded console, i guess the shop retailer will giv you all sort of crap and ask you fork out another 700 and they will get a new console to you? so they can send back spoiled console to the supplier and claim for a new console? i don't know, it just my guess.
