yours is already in my shop, tested on gears of war runs ok.. but sometimes hang.. sometimes got artifact.... but somehow it just runs smooth.. don't know how to said..

I am expecting more people will be infected by 3ROD on the following several months because of the scorching weather....

he can exchange his xbox 360 if he brings his xbox 360 and also make a report from Microsoft Service Center.

Once he got the reference number. He can just go to the service hub and get his "refurbish" new xbox 360.

I was just wondering.. if my 360 is over a year old and its a Japan set..is there any chance for claiming warranty if it evers 3ROD on me? I haven't been playing mine lately but i tried DOA4 2 days ago for about 15mins and its still running fine..

japanese set only 3months warranty anything happen must swim back to japan. if i am not mistaken msoft extended that 3months to 12months already but still if over 1 year old already then sendiri tanggung lah.

crossing all my fingers that my japanese set will be healthy too

3ROD is mimicaly like cancer in human it only show symptom when the system about to die.....

i assume when we register , we also use the same address as Live...is it??

But seriously, all is not lost. Go through the exchange process and you'll get your replacement soon. I know it's leceh and all, but at least you'll still get a replacement. Ask us if you need guidance. Otherwise, most of what you need to know and do is already in this thread.

Aiyo, hopefully mine doesn't get it. I don't feel like buying another 360 (just renewed my LIVE account too ..can use the money for a Wii and my next-gen collection will be complete.

Same here la, but I have a nagging feeling I will still get a 360 even if mine ROD (sucker betul) because I'm addicted to the online component - I don't know if PS3 can offer that kind of seamlessness.

I dont think it has anyting to do with the heat or placing the console vertically, mine is vertically placed and running more than 10 hours (in weekend sometimes weekday also) in a very warm room temperature. Still running fine.

Will get another 360 once i unlocked the 3ROD achievement, im addicted.
