Can try to have a look at Jusion Ax254C... CF tripod.. I bought one recently too Weight is just ok for me though heavier than i expected

I think $$$ is much bigger concern for me... just funded huge sum of money for my trip.. damn broke now.. haha

looking for a light weight, and get the job done travel tripod for vacation since I travel and street photography alot..

[Edit] - not to say a lot, but I'm more passionate on these type of photography

so conclusion is, when u get a d800, u'll later get a xe2. haha.

Not neccesarily an XE-2 la haha, but mots people love the image quality of Fujifilm cameras~ And not to mention the retro design XD

And yeap, that's what I've been telling a lot of enthusiasts currently using DX machines , sooner or later people will still turn to mirrorless because of the portability If he/she can just skip the FF part, can save a lot of money yo~

I'm sure many (including me) joined the world of FF because we were curious to see see how well a FF performs. And at the end of the day, I guess most will learn that its really the skills that matters. And its not like mirrorless cameras are bad haha, they offer great performance for the portability- a balanced machine that many are willing to sacrifice ergonomics/ruggedness for~

This is just my opinion la haha, though I think its logical
Having said that, I'm still keeping my D800 for my macro shots, definitely will need the weather sealing and ruggedness when I enter the forests

after go to big n heavy camera...then find out go travel is killing...
and then start to look for something small...

entered the FF world, then i saw what the DX cant do. and i actually do think that skill really matters, bt gears are important as well. especially when i was shooting in i-city, where some shots were impossible for me to take with a d5100.


lucky we took d600 d610 ones..that day i used d610 + sigma 50 1.4 + nissin di622m2, my fingers were about to give way.

Right now they are quite capable already, which is why many FF users decided to get a mirrorless camera as a secondary camera, or switched completely to mirrorless system

Hmm, I have to disagree haha, we can try and ask some sifus here, give him/her the D5100 and ask him/her to take nice photos in i-city... I don't think it will be a problem for them More work yes, but definitely not impossible ~
Speaking of i-city... after 1 year talking I still haven't gone there haihsss... very unmotivated T____T

Thats why I say for me I can't take photos at icity at some particular place where lighting is really insufficient. I need to bump to iso8000 with a 1.8 lens. ><
