Not neccesarily an XE-2 la haha, but mots people love the image quality of Fujifilm cameras~ And not to mention the retro design XD

And yeap, that's what I've been telling a lot of enthusiasts currently using DX machines  , sooner or later people will still turn to mirrorless because of the portability If he/she can just skip the FF part, can save a lot of money yo~

I'm sure many (including me) joined the world of FF because we were curious to see see how well a FF performs. And at the end of the day, I guess most will learn that its really the skills that matters. And its not like mirrorless cameras are bad haha, they offer great performance for the portability- a balanced machine that many are willing to sacrifice ergonomics/ruggedness for~

This is just my opinion la haha, though I think its logical
Having said that, I'm still keeping my D800 for my macro shots, definitely will need the weather sealing and ruggedness when I enter the forests

Would like to ask for guidance and teachings.
I'm a newbie here. And i want to learn more on photography.
What body and lens would all sifus recommend me to get?
Where can i get them? Regarding warranty and all, is it wise to get it from overseas? Like Bangkok for example? Hope all sifus here can allocate a little bit of their precious time to teach this newbie.

I've tried the Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8, and doesn't seem distorted in my eyes thou.. LOL may be I too noob to distinguish what is distortions thou.. all pics looks awesome to my eye..

Thanks for the advise. Btw, anyone of u feel nowaday, the photo shoot by hp some time quality better than DLSR? Specially Samsung Note 3, day time, shoot landscape photo with high contract, i feel note 3 color and detail is much more better compare to my D7000 photo with 17-50f2.8 lens.

especially with Iphone , or the new google camera with lens blur.. bokeh in technology.. so good~

Hi guys, in your opinion what would be the two ideal lenses (1 spare and 1 fixed to cam) you would bring to a vacation?

I'm currently using the default 18-55mm lense. Photos taken during the day has very crisp colors but not for the ones taking during the night. I understand this could probably due to my lack of skills but just curious what do you guys typically bring to a vacation.

Shots taken at FRIM, unfortunately there was still not a lot of wildlife at the moment. Not sure whether its because of the recent dry season or because FRIM sprayed the entire place 

Varies from subject to subject haha
Shot 1 and 3 were take quite close (~5cm-6cm) since the subjects are not known to move/flee 

What is the base plate for? For ARCA plate?
