After much consideration, I might go for the J-One offer instead of Nikon KLCC and I can use the extra money to buy other stuff. (Btw, what other stuff should I buy besides the D3300 kit? Is lens hood necessary for such a small lens? Maybe cleaning kit? But I never had any experience in cleaning a dslr using cleaning kit. Please advise.)

I'll see how this goes, if this entry level dslr breaks down within 3 years, then I'll take this as a lesson and buy the extra warranty when I upgrade to a higher level dslr. Btw, is RM1920 offered by J-One for D3300 with 1 year warranty, screen protector, sd card and Nikon bag a good deal? From what I can see, many formers recommend J-One because of their good service and reasonable price.

Isn't D3200 one of the lightest dslr in the market now? I haven't tried out the D3300 but I heard it's even lighter than D3200. The crumpler insert you mentioned looks sexy but quite costly...

You will be "constraint" abit in your cropping, but in the end you will still be able to produce a same photo size (ratio) as shot

Any one know where to service Tamron lens? I got one Nikon mount tamron 17-50f2.8 having some issue. When i set to long expose, i found some white dot in my picture, it like light reflection. How to solve it? Any one experience the same issue b4? At 1st i tot is my camera sensor dirt mark, but after do sensor cleaning, my photo still have the white dot. After i change to other lens, no white dot appear, then only i realize is lens problem.

I think this shot could use some improvements 
Just some of my noob comments, I don't really know too much about portraits:

- there are some rubbish in the background, I think can be clone away lol
- there is a small triangular thing on her forearm, can be cloned too
- not sure whether you intend for the model to look as natural as possible; but usually I would smoother her face and removing freckles/pimples/wrinkles (and usually girls will appreciate it haha)
- The angle could be better for that particular pose: it looks like the leg suddenly "pop out" from her head
- I think the bokeh might not be that nice for this shot.. perhaps can choose a better background so that you can get super creamy bokeh?
