yeah just smack some mosquitoes and feed them with it, or if you can get mosquitoe larvae oso can.

Only problem is you're no sure if the mozzies are clean - some kena ridset adi - eat adi your fish also kong

guys i need help here,

my fish seems weak.he is really passive and didnt move around as usual. the fish color oso is fading. the worst part is its doesnt flare when i put mirror as usual. the symptoms just started few hours ago... how to save my betta? help!? btw i already change the water and clean my tank. thats the 1st thing i do if anything looks unusual

after deep thinking i think it maybe course by 2 possiblities

1) [food].am i overfeed him. his stomach seem bloating. this evening i give my fish a bit more of worms as usual. i give him frozen worms. is it possible? the frozen worms i bought like a month ago. i still using it because the consumption is not that very small (i just have i fish) and the packet is quite big. can it last that long? i put it in the fridge but i can see the worm is kinda black oredi...

2) [algae]. in my tank got java moss and water cabbage. both i got them around a week ago. but since then the tank will always dirty faster. 3 days oni the water turn green. (usually i change water every 3 days but never that dirty). is it because of water cabbage or java moss? fyi i place my tank near window so water cabbage can get the sun light it needs. does it because of that?

if u see closely the back fin is a bit teared and i hope it fix itself soon. oso the color of the body. its some sort of fading. another weird thing is the fish suddenly always in the 1st picture position. usually its move around up and down. just doing that when taking oxygen. does this show anything?

I wonder if the scales are starting to stand at an angle - I lost a fish once that way - couldn't do anything about that, ended up releasing. But I'm quite sure the other members can tell you more.

do a 100% water change and remove foreign objects....just water and the betta only. Try putting in some (non-treated) salt as well. If the bulge at the stomach grows, then i reckon that ur betta has dropsy.

so do ur fish still can eat ?

Or, you can do a one stone 2 bird method..

you go buy a Drosera plant... then since Drosera plant pot need to sink in another pot of water, so the water will be use to breed mosquito larva.. then if the larva become mosquito, it will be seduce by the sweety on the plant, & it will eaten by the drosera plant.. so what u do is to check the water frequently see got any mosquito larva or not, then u just pick them up & feed the betta.

i've never seen that plant before, know where to buy it? i think i really need them at my house cause got lots of mosquitoes.

no the plant will eat mosquito. if the larvae turn into mosquito adi then the mosquito will be attracted to the plant and stick to it.

Oh well, i am sorry for my "over-enthusiasm" Cuz I am the type who love my pets, and only want the best for them.

If wanna intro a female, have to put a net or any other separator between the male and female 1st.. Not jz place them together.. Even with the net/plastic/glass in the middle they will start chasing each other edi.

But i can't confirm with u all mosquito will attract by it la..but so far i got saw mosquito sticking on it.
If u saw my picture, the leave there got some black tips/spot, those are bugs & insect.
The water usually i change it once 2 weeks, then u can harvest the larva out for the betta to eat.
But the larva is really small & a bit transparent also. So u need good eye sight to check for it.

Those plant are categories as CARNIVOROUS PLANTS. falls under Drosera species, which are comes in pygmy size.
I heard my fren said u can get it cheap at sungai buloh there.Sometimes at those carrefour gardening section got sell.

So buy frozen worms lo.. rm2.50 only

my fish got new symptom. his eyes mcm ade selaput. n his not eating! help!
