lol.. i won't go smell my fish bowl cause i know my pond water doesn't smell too well itself. BUT it's clear fresh water, just that got lots of algae in it

need to change to bigger aquarium for them adi - some i feed so kau that they suddenly grew quite abit - its pretty cramped now - not to mention water dirties pretty fast. But somehow or rather now chanceto go get them new aquarium

oops...sorry, i mean if i would want to do a 100% wc.

Mostly i will change my adult betta once a week, which are in the plastic tank.

Then for those which in jar i will do a 80% wc once in 3 days.

Is 3 days the good time to do WC?
i thought 1 week also can with plastic tank

not yetlah kenji....now the thai male make a lot of bubble...tonight must take out the female HM from tupperware...so let them together-gether...just leave it...already put polysterene onto the male bubble...female also make a bubble too...so tonight i do experiment with male thai betta(long tail betta) with HM female...see what i get from them...hehehe...

hi guys, im new here.. just got myself a 10 bucks HM betta from a pet shop.. really cool fish to have. hope to learn more..

i had a few of those longkang betta before.. too bad died.. and when i let them breed, its quite easy to see them lay the eggs and hatch it.. maybe all that in a week or so~

ya looo...dont have pic lah bro...4get to take pic...but yesterday night i leave HM female with longtail male...then the longtail male always patuk2 HM female wooo....then in the morning i saw my longtail just stay quite..didnt move...so i take them n asingkan mereka berdua...i think this is not suitable for them together2....

sorry to spoil ur thunder but the fish you got there is not considered a HM (due to the poor fin). I also reckon that ur fish is a mix between red & turquoise.

jhoonaun, i think is kinda expensive if you pay RM10 for the betta.
Cause for that quality, you could easily get for a few bucks only.

Aiyoh jhoonaun This is not HM lah... This type of Betta can easily get... Their price around RM3 to RM5 only. You bought for RM10

Surely you 'kena potong' liao




P/S : jhooanun, you better do some research & read more about Betta, so next you wont get cheated anymore

Until 1 day I saw 1 I was desperate to buy adi, but kenot bring home. So cham, had to ask very nicely to park at my gf's place.

But AH HA! Now she feed the 2 fellers for 1 week adi, she also kena poison adi! She's actually starting to like the buggers adi!! HEehEH...opportunity coming for me to expand the brood adi...

Yes, females do make bubbles.. All my females make bubbles (a few even as much as the males zzzz).. Its good sign, shows ur girls are very healthy and happy ^^ and, very fertile as well lol.. Sometimes, when the females' bubbles are big enuf, i used to drop a few eggs inside to kacau them:P then the females will jaga the eggs like the real mummy:P

lol that's interesting. where did you get the extra eggs from to drop into their bubble?

all say i kena potong.. LOL.. well, happinese cant be bought.. but things that can make ppl happy can be bought..

any where i can find really nice HM ? very interested with it now.. im stayin in sg buluh.. but i pass by PJ everyday for college..

the pet stall i saw in kl sentral only has veiltails i think, i didn't see any HM. the males are RM3 and females are RM2. there are lots of other pets so you can have a look around and be amused, especially the hamsters
