It because your ram run at different speed when you set DDR667 at bios. 250HTT will give it DDR800. You maybe need to adjust the timing abit loose.

Oh like that,need to calculate first.I use Easy tune 5,Gigabyte own software.now priming 2450mhz 306x8.2500mhz cannot boot cos i cannot change any voltage mad.gif

I have one Biostar TForce6100 too. And what worst is, the video not working and memory timing cant adjust manually. This time, 6100 Sux to max.

I'm got experience with Winfast, on board vga are suck. RMA 2nd times but still same problem just 3rd times it's ok.

Maybe this is the 1st batch for Biostar AM2 6100. That why it abit buggy for me. Anyway, you get my Pm rite? Dont change for me another 6100. I top up for Tforce550. IF 2nd one also lidat, den waste postage money nia.

for the AMD Overclocking....

at my list juz DFI,Biostar,ABIT is the best

ASUS at AMD Overclocking not best like the brand as this 3....

juz best at Intel Overclocking

i'm selling out my s754 via k8m800 board lar because just gotten 2 GB of free DDR2 ram from my bro's upgrade to conroe ...

going AMD am2 with DDR2-533Mhz ... cheap cool and nice ...

AMD AM2 with DDR533 9-3-3-3.0 1T..will give you lower overrall memory bandwidth compare to Socket 939 at DDR400 average timing. Mine only give 58% bandwidth effiency even the timing is already quite tight for DDRII. And the sandramark and pcmark for memory drop compare to my S939 run at DDR400 6-3-3-2.5.

budget below RM400 = Biostar Tforce 550 is the current best option. Do not get Biostar Tforce 6100-AM2.... the bios sucks. The only downside to Tforce 550 is that the Vdimm max out at 2.2V.

budget around RM400-RM500 = Any ASUS AM2 should be okay. Or if can wait, DFI Infinity Ultra-M2 should be the best choice.

any budget higher than that suka hati....
