How can i set the timing for DDRII in Biostar Tforce 6100? I seem cant find anything similiar to my S939 DFI inifnity. I cant find where to set the Cas Latency and the bios DRAM configuration got too many stuff to play.

try TC's "Core Temp" - A program for accurate K8 temperature monitoring
it monitors the cpu proc with internal component.
So far my my case, the reading is a lil different ftrom mobo's probe wink.gif

Any recommendations on what mobo to get that is reasonably priced (around RM400) and good for overclocking?
Feeling gatal again after the price drop  tongue.gif

Just get boards with 570-590 chipset.dun buy 6100.My Giga board 6100 no OC option in bios vmad.gif .Luckily can use software.

Eventho I've been ocing for 5yrs,still cant understand how AM2 Fsb or HTT works. So wanna ask expert here.I cant get past 250HTT if I set DDR2 at 667 in bios...but if set DDR2-400 can go up to 300HTT currently still priming. Why like this one.Set DDR2 667 with lower clock speed or set 400 with higher clock speed better?

It because your ram run at different speed when you set DDR667 at bios. 250HTT will give it DDR800. You maybe need to adjust the timing abit loose.

What software you using?

Oh like that, need to calculate first.I use Easy tune 5,Gigabyte own software.now priming 2450mhz 306x8.2500mhz cannot boot cos i cannot change any voltage mad.gif

QUOTE(the_kid @ Sep 19 2006, 09:45 AM)
i need help please.

i'm new in the computer world. but i have done some research myself for the past year.
two days ago i bought me a new rig am2 x2 3600+ and gigabyte ga-m51gm-s2g.
i want to overclock it by upto 30% only coz i feel my previos rig is much faster than this inspite of being a dual core cpu.

my problem is i cant seem to find anything in the bios to help me overclock it even a little. the only thing i can find is the memory timings which only appears after pressing CTRL+F1. other than that, no more.

can anyone help me?

which bios has the option on increasing the fsb, multiplier setting, memory timing adjustment and so on?

currently my bios version if F5.

thanks!

Update ur bios f6/f7 can change fsb,vga speed, and ram timing in bios.
