do you have the access to change Trfc value in the BIOS? If yes, try change to higher value.

As past post stated, I have manually set the timing to 5-5-5-15. When oc, the frequency is 466 (400 Memory Divider) with timing 5-5-5-15.

Theoritically, here i do not need extra voltage right? Here my question is why i need to pump vdimm in order to make it boot??

guys, Im on my way to buy AM2 motherboard..my question is, can i use ddr400 ram into ddr2 board?

as i not forget, there is one Abit mobo that have 4 slot...2 slot for ddr1 and another pair for ddr2...but forget the model name..

what is the different between Biostar TFORCE 550 and TFORCE 570? Im willing to buy one of these mobo in which my budget is around RM250

DDR 400 (DDR) cannot be fixed into DDR2 slot. And AM2 all using DDR2.

Biostar TForce 550 and Biostar TForce 570. They use different chipset which is nforce 550 and nforce 570 if not mistaken

i doubt you can get them at RM 250 but i'm sure you can top up a little more.

i am using the Tforce 550 myself.

maybe differences in Trtp? Trc? Twr? Trrd? TrwTO? Twtr? Twrrd? Twrwr? Trdrd? Tref? Queue Bypass Max? Max Async Latency? Idle Cycle Limit? Trfc?

all these changes when you use different divider, and they affect the memory controller and ram. memory timing is not only 5-5-5-15-2T...

not only ur ram..ur gc oso must change to pci-e if ur pc b4 dis using agp slot...i'm newbie in amd section...juz throw out my old p4 system to new AM2 sytsem...dis became my baby rig...lost to much money bought dis new system...

superpi32m needed if he want to show of teh clockspeed

if im not mistaken, besides chipset, the differences are sata and usb port..tforce 570 has more sata and usb port than tforce 550..overall its just same..
